I'll take the easy ones!

If your model is looking right or left, try and have most of the negative space in front of them rather than behind their head.

If you can, start by placing the model's eyes at the intersection of the 'rule of thirds' (or even 'rule of fifths'). Human brains seem wired to accept this as pleasing.

Have fun. Shoot a lot. And be your own most harsh critic with what you show to others.

Good luck,
JT

The lighting is somewhat flat in most of everything you have here. And that is to be expected when you start out because all you want is a photo that is well lit in the beginning. Try introducing some strobe light to create some light shadowing, and of course do not be afraid to move around your model as you shoot. Having some good separation between model and background never hurts and gives a really nice rim light. ( a light source between the model and the backdrop).
