Hi everyone, my name is Emily.

I became severely hard of hearing from the age of 6 but that hasn't held me back from anything! I am a very friendly, kind and enthusiastic girl and even though I'm new to the modelling world I’m here to show them all…

But am I really any good?

Please check out my portfolio and leave your comments and likes if you like what you see! I'd appreciate the feedback if you think I'm doing well.

You are an attractive girl with a nice smile and a good figure. You need to be aware of your expressions and learn how to pose. Also you need to be aware of how your clothes fit. The blue top allowed us to know that it was chilly out and you felt it.

These photos are the good ones out of the lot. They are not great, but your poses and expressions are good. The lighting could have been improved.

This is not too bad, except your face is almost too small to be seen and the gown is overexposed and the castle is slanted.

Which leads to the next point - you need better photographers.

So practice expressions, research and practice poses in the mirror and find photographers that you can TFP with, whose portfolios are those you'd like to be in.

Good luck, all the best and have fun.

Emily,

That's my daughters name, so you are off to a great start.

I'm sorry but your images are not very good. Even the best ones Howard mentioned are pretty weak.

First and foremost you need better photographers. They will understand light and posing. They will be a great help to you.

Secondly, what genre of modeling would you like to try. Fashion may or may not be right for you. But I think glamour, swimsuit might be right up your alley.

Third, you need to spend a considerable time in front of a full length mirror working on poses.

Fourth, a drama class may be a great help for you to help with expressions.

Find a strong photographer to take you under his wing and shoot, shoot, shoot.

You are attractive, with an amazing figure so there rest is just hard work.

Best to you in your quest to be a force in the modeling industry.

Somewhere in the background I can hear your mother yelling "Stand up straight! Stop slouching!"

I see a very good looking woman in your photos, but I do not see a professional model [Your posing needs work].
In this image your chin is tucked in this is causing skin under your chin to gather.
The human eye is attracted by bright objects, in this image that would be your skirt; it is much brighter than your face, so your viewers will be looking at your hips.
Observations, on a good note your body is on an angle to camera, how ever your hair is getting lost in the dark background.

With this image you appear to just be standing there, arms hanging at your sides, chin tucked in, body and head square to camera.

This would be my favorite image in your portfolio.

I wish you well

In my opinion, the four studio images show you most attractively.  The rest do nothing to encourage me to work with you.  Your avatar is really off-putting.

Her current "shhhh" avatar is just a big turn off.  It is just so amaturelsh.  Need to find better photographers to help her to develop her port.

As always, less is more.  Delete all junk images from your port.  You will be judged by the worst image on your port.  It is unfair, but this is real life.  Good luck.  smile
