When I reviewed your updated portfolio I found that all of my old favorite black and white Nude Art shots of yours were missing

I did find them though in the Creditted Photos

and I would give you a score of 74 for those last 6 Black and White Shots

74! Thank you, from my figure profile here, ( moved to Figure Jen B,) and I'd started a slightly steamer art profile found here too: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/3919465/viewall
Thank you.

I know I need to clean up my port a little bit so I'll stand by with a sweater just in case it's a bit chilly.

Well

First of all I would like to say that I like the twinkle in your eye ( from your avatar shot )

And I think that You have found a good Model in Kira

But overall You Photos are pretty bland and I would suggest working with your Models more on Styling . Posinig and Emoting

Composition could be more interestinig , Lighting could be more dramatic

43 degrees

Looking at your Avatar I had 2 thoughts

You are strikingly handsome

And It looks ( perhaps ) as though You are a Shakesperean Actor

But then I looked at your portfolio and

All I am going to say is that I think it would be a wise investment for You to hire a Professional Photographer

I am going to skip right to you Sir

Because your Portfolio is a Joy to look at except for this cloud in the sky

https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/27816430 ( but my guess is that you have sentimental reasons for keeping it in your port )

81 degrees

( however i am not thrilled with the photos on your bio page - so i am choosing to ignore them )

Really wish that I was in Malta right now shooting  with the last Model I worked with

I am going to have to think about yours for a bit

Your portfolio is kind of like a cloudy summer day - will the clouds clear and the sun shine

or will there be rain ?

Great critique, thanks!  I think you've nailed it, and it's why I've felt like "starting over" and totally re-branding .  I've not been in command of the narrative and therefore creatively empty in my results.   Thanks so much for your time and honesty!

Yes - A Travelling Model who has worked with many photographers should show the best of her or his work

I especially like this shot

Hmmmm

I was not prepared for a Painter to enter this discussion

You need to know that I generally consider Painters ( and their kind ) to be True Artists - as they create something out of nothing . Whereas Photography I generally consider simply a capturing process ( capturing what is already therey ) ...Of course there are exceptions

So I really cant give you a temperature rating

I will say though that you have developed an unique and recognizable style to your work - which is something we all strive for

You have a few great shots in your portfolio -including

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/160328/18/56f9dda4c6688.jpg

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/170505/18/590d2dc2c46ba.jpg

( though this shot would look better if you captured the left models full outstretched shoe - even if you had to photoshop it in )

The "Junkyard Vamps " series does look look magazine quality editorial

And the Autumn Leaves Series is very pleasing to the eye as well

But there exists a lot of mediocrity  and a few downright poor quality photos in your portolio

Its hard to assign you an overall temperature as there is such a range in quality regarding your work

I am going to assign the temperature of 57

But You could bring up the heat of your portfolio by cutting out about 100 of the poorer photos

Please message me if you are interested in more of my opinions regarding your work

Sorry for taking so long, been bed-ridden with high fever for 3 days... not pleasant
I've pruned the port a little (not by 100) so I'd be curious to understand some examples which you think are inferior. Can do on this thread or private as you prefer

Cheers

we'll have to agree to disagree on a couple of those smile
