Lace Razor, for me, is the epitome of duality. Just like a zebra's stripes: There is only black and white. Creation, or destruction. Both are beautiful, and sometimes terrible, but that is my art form, and I utilize both.

I want the result of my collaborations with a photographer to be simply dark, absurd, surreal or ghostly. Or something that makes a political or social statement. Most important of all, honest and REAL. (Or just anything that renders the average viewer unable to decide if it's creepy, or sexy, and leaves them with a head full of questions and an awkward boner.)

I cringe when artists talk about doing something "edgy". If you are using that word with me, it means you are nowhere close to the edge. To me, my portfolio is still a little tame. That being said, I would love to create new art that is teetering dangerously on the edge, or art that has fallen off the edge completely... and in some cases, splattered gratuitously on the earth 500 feet below it.

I am a highly flawed model, and I won't hide this fact. So instead, I celebrate it.

Also, if seeing me on the cover of a magazine pressing a cat to my face doesn't make you laugh after seeing my portfolio, then maybe nothing will:

During a shoot,

I am:
Friendly, bubbly, polite and helpful, adventurous, passionate, weird and just as professional as the situation calls for. Brave, i.e. "will wade in pond scum or climb things for an awesome shot."

I am not:
A diva or a grouch. We will have fun :)
