Kenton Washington was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School, and attended Ridge Water Community College on a partial scholarship for football, and also was the editor and the photographer for his college newspaper. Although football has always been his first love growing up, he has always had an eye for photography. During Family and school events he would always try to capture each moment through photography, which was how his journey as a photographer began. Kenton Washington is Engaged to a professional dancer and business owner in Sunrise Fl, and has two beautiful son's that are two years apart that he adores. Although photography is his passion he also has another full time job at a Golf Course in Miami, Florida. Kenton Washington uses photography as a way to bring families and friends closer together so they can cherish each captured moment together for a lifetime. Two of his great passions in life are travel and photography. He believe's that travel broadens one's view of the world. Experiencing other cultures, meeting people from other communities and other countries and seeing the beauty, and sometimes ugliness, of the world has helped me understand that all of our lives are at once interconnected and individual. It has made him better appreciate his own home and culture as well as that of the people he has met and the lands he has seen and he has become a much more tolerant person as a result. Through his photography he seeks to document his own personal experiences, to capture scenes and events as he see's them and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world he has seen. As the images of other photographers have inspired him to explore the world, I hope my own contributions will inspire others to do the same.

He views the art of photography as a subtractive process, a distilling of reality into a personal vision. As such he often use the tools of modern photography – different film stocks, filters, digital enhancement – to try to capture in an image the emotions he felt at the moment he tripped the camera's shutter.
Photography enriches our lives in many ways, it is a source of great art, lots of great imagery has been captured throughout the century, photography has also given us inspiring thoughts.
