I'm primarily an artist/painter who uses my own photography of the female nude to explore the beauty of the form mainly through the watercolor medium. I've taken photos of nudes for years and had some shows of them or mixed-media versions of them. The subject matter is typically erotic; it's an exploration of sensuality in the models' body language, gestures, and I accentuate this feeling in the way I handle the paint. I think watercolor lends to the fluidity and eroticism of the figure. I'll be looking for more models and possibly a "Great Muse" who can give me endless inspiration like Matisse and Picasso had (well, in a modern way). As can be gleaned from my art, I tend to go for the more robust figures, but athletic and toned is key. I use photography as a springboard into exploring true beauty and I think many stand alone as works of art, but I like to take some of the best examples and create works of art with them. I like to make the photo sessions fun and imaginative and let the model be free with her own poses. I Hope to work with you!
