My name is Giske and I`m a 24 year old girl, from Hamar, a little town in the beautiful Norway. After been living and working in London for a short period, I`m again at the moment, based in Oslo, Norway, where I work as a freelance hair & makeup artist, combined with being a tattooist apprentice in House Of Pain, where I started to work this fall. I love it, when I feel it gives me a certain balance. Not just mentally, but for my creativity as well, and not to mention all the inspiration that it gives me, wich I can put into my work, but also, for developing me as a human being, every day :), and for me, this is the air that I breathe.
I would love to get in contact with new people to work with (all sorts, like other mua`s, hairdressers, models, photographers, artists, actors, whatever you are), as long as you`re not afraid to be a newthinker, and that you got the hunger to express & create. I am able to travel on an international basis, but I also hope that more people will come to visit Norway, it`s really beautiful here in the winter:)
I`ve worked mostly with photo-makeup, but I also have experience with music videos, fashion shows, television, shortfilms, and to setting the light, which I find very interesting and would love to learn more about.
I also love to draw and paint, and have the last year been working a lot with UV paint (fluorecant colour) mostly live painting on fabric, for decoration /or face & bodypaint on festivals, parties and events. I hope to find a photographer that could be interested to do a photoshoot with UV lightening and UV makeup, but I am of course open for new ideas, so if you have something in mind, please give me a shout.
