Ross Laurence began his career as a fine artist, studying painting, filmmaking and photography. After earning his Fine Arts degree, he devoted several years to travel, odd jobs and his obsession with old motorcycles before discovering his passion for the world of fashion photography.

After several years of assisting for photographers in Minneapolis and New York Ross endeavored upon his own career as a photographer, dividing his time between his commercial interests and fine art work.

Ross remains passionate about all of his artistic inspirations and sees the unity of the various artistic disciples as a source of creative momentum, underscoring his commitment to creating intense, iconic and engaging imagery.

As a commercial photographer, Ross shoots beauty and fashion. His clients include Macy’s, Regis and Aveda. Ross has won several awards of distinction for his commercial work, including the first place award in the Fashion Category at the 2009 APA Awards.

As a fine art photographer, Ross continues to explore an increasingly abstract trajectory in his work. Ross has won several awards for his fine art photography. He has exhibited through out the United States, the UK, France, Australia and Asia.

In addition to the photographic arts, Ross is directing his first feature length documentary, Horizon Line – A Fight for the Future. Horizon Line documents the struggle of young boxers in Dublin and South Minneapolis to find an alternate path to the mean streets where drugs, violence and poverty prevail.

Ross divides his time between New York and Minneapolis while editing his latest film and working on future projects. He is always looking for ambitious, daring talent who take risks and contribute their own artistic vision to the intense craft of modeling in a partnership to create iconic imagery that’s impact will endure the test of time.
