Welcome to my page, hope you enjoy your stay. My names Chris, I originally come from Portsmouth here in the UK but I’m now based in the heart of the country, Birmingham. I live with my Wife Gemma, our 2 kids Poppy and Liam and a cat called Cassie. Few years ago I gained a degree in Fine Art Sculpture from Wimbledon School of Art and a now work in a local college. I have a huge interest in anything creative, right from Design, craft and fine Art. I work with Photography, Animation, Drawing, Printmaking and Bookbinding.

When I’m not at work or spending time with my family, you can usually find me on eBay looking for my next photographic purchase. I collect and use old film cameras mostly from the USSR era plus a few box brownies, Polaroids, Holga’s and other Lomography style cameras. I would describe my photographic style as very loose and experimental, using creative software from Adobe and NIK trying different techniques and experiment with processes.

I love digital photography and though i still shoot film I have fully embraced this medium. I use Nikon and Olympus Professional cameras and Lenses, switching between Models depending on the photographic situation. I also used an Olympus Pen camera and my Mobile phone for Instagram see what I do @chris_hurrell.
