Abram Becenti is Diné (Navajo) He is Kinyaa`áanii (Towering House) clan, Tódich`íi`nii (Bitter Water) clan, Tó`aheedlíinii (Water Flow Together) clan, Tsi`naajinii (Black Streak Wood) clan born in Fillmore, Utah, currently residing in the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He was raised in a non-traditional Navajo setting and has adapted to modern life. Turning to aunts, uncles and elders for answers, who carry wisdom and are the key philosophers of the Navajo Culture. He knows this will make him a stronger person to build a good foundation in his traditions, history and beliefs.

A graduate of Del Norte High School, his first step towards his future was a college education; this is where he attended Trinidad State Junior College in Alamosa, Colorado where he earned an A.A.S degree in Business, a Webmaster Certificate, and a Qualified Medication Assistant Personal Certificate.

For mental diversion, he enjoys reading Native American tribal newspapers, reading short stories written by Native American authors, taking road trips, playing softball and volleyball.

He believes that we have the power to create our own reality, fulfill the heart’s desire and ultimately leave impressions on others in some way or another. He continues to experience this wonderful journey of his life.
