Emily Sims is a Geelong based makeup artist, currently working toward her Diploma in Specialist Makeup artistry at Victoria University.

From a young age she knew she wanted a career in a creative, hands-on
environment. When experimenting at home she realised makeup was a path she’d like to further explore. At sixteen Emily enrolled herself in Faceworx makeup academy, participated in their Bridal, fashion and photographic course and then Advanced Photographic and Catwalk passing both with high marks. During this time, is when her passion for makeup really flourished and she decided to pursue this as her future career.

Emily is trained to and can achieve a range of styles from every day to more extreme fashion looks. With a special love for vintage and artistic inspired looks she hopes to one day make this the focus of her career.

Aware that the makeup industry isn’t always full of its glitz and glamour, especially for the countless animals that products are tested on every year, Emily is buyer conscious and only purchases non-animal tested and cruelty free products and wants to see a day where her industry doesn’t rely on it.
