About Me

I am a photographer, but since late winter this year, I decided to start shooting myself. I am free to express myself more freely and I really enjoy focusing on the art and expression instead of the looking good part like I am when I shoot others or for others.

I am not really a model. I am actually a photographer, but am going through a phase of self portraits. Creating this portfolio to have a place to share that work.

I don't check the email on this profile terribly often, but feel free to write me through my photographer page, MM # 500111.

Credit Notes

Here are some touching comments I have received since starting this project:
"Sometimes it seems (to me) that these are not really self portraits at all or, rather, that they are self portraits that the building would take of itself if it could. The photos feel like the building is baring its soul or heart and you, in the image, are the embodiment or personification of that heart.
This is what I see when I look at this project and I find the photos incredibly powerful for being able to give the buildings a voice."

"Your ability to connect with that which is not human facilitates a transcendental experience. I have spent 20 years connecting with the non-human environment and finding ways to manifest that on the film plane. You give these places respect and treat them as any man would treat a dying stranger, whom he or she stumbled upon, unable to help ... whose only request of you, be that you find a way for others to see what you have seen and possibly connect with the truth of who we are as a species ... and what we leave behind.
Your use of your body as a contrasting device not only amplifies the intensity but truly brings everything to life."
