Welcome to "Team Mayhem". This is a meeting place for volunteers, a discussion thread, a sign in sheet, a place to raise issues or to impart new ideas on how we may be of service to the Model Mayhem community.
In this thread we will also accept volunteers to help with the following threads and new threads will be added as we go along. Below you will find a sample of how this will look.
If you currently OP a mentor/help thread or contest and would like volunteers to be involved with you, you may request to be included in the above list.
Volunteer duties will include but will not be limited to:
Assist the OP.
This assistance could be in the form of vote counting, preparing bbcode for posting by the OP, helping OP network the thread by forming an email distribution list for notifications, recruiting and making contacts on behalf of the threads and bump that thang), and give the OP some time away, a mini vacation if you will. This can effectively eliminate OP burnout.
Volunteers with assignments will be awarded a "Team Mayhem" emblem in your choice of small and medium size to post on your profile. Just click on the emblem and you are instantly transported to "Team Mayhem".
This is a new concept and brand new thread so please join in and let us hear from you.

Some of you know that Steve was reportedly involved in a serious auto accident and is recovering in a hospital in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and we wish him a speedy recovery.
UPDATE I've recently talked with Steve and he is recovering slowly but surely.

This is where I post requests from OPs wanting volunteers for specified needs. Please check here if you are looking for something to do, then contact the OP. As these jobs are filled I will remove them.
(1) I need several volunteers to help me promote the MM Model of the Week, the MM Photographer of the Week, and the mm MUA of the Week contests. Duties would include contacting amazing photographers and models to introduce them to these threads. ⢠Additional duties would be to send a Tag to Voters and Contestants each week with a "Thank You" and/or "Good Luck", for their participation. A bump or two a day would also be helpful.
(2) The LIST needs volunteers to help organize an email distribution list. This email list will be used to help us connect photographers with new models on the "Please Just Shoot Me" list and to inform members on current events.
(3) We need to build a volunteer team for our newest MENTOR thread The 5th LIST-MENTOR support for newbie Makeup Artists. Please apply here in Team Mayhem or pm Peter Buckley-Saxon.
(4) NEW~We need screeners to check background references on members desiring to participate in The 4th LIST- Accommodations for models on tour. This assignment is very important and everything must be handled with discretion and confidentiality. This assignment isn't for everyone. Please contact Aubrey or myself if you feel you'd be a good screener.
There is a list of suggestions in the OP. See if there is something there that you can do for one of the help or contest threads listed. You may pm or email me if you'd prefer to discuss it there. Thanks Michael~!!

Just dropped in to take a look and to answer a few pms and wow~!! I may need help with this help thread, LOL ~!! I can't stay but will be back in a few hours.
ok...so for 2 weeks Sleep Weasel, Blue Ash, AB Young, and Rachel Jay can cover on the Concept Shot of the Day Contest. Try and stick to the existing format even though a slighty new one is coming. Winners who want the logo medallion can message me and I'll email it to them.

I'm getting a lot of offers for help. I'm thrilled. Problem is, nobody's coming with suggestions as to what they might do so I am going to start assigning work unless you state a preference. I can do that.
