Hey everyone - here is the latest info on our meet & greet / event:

The next Delaware Area Meet and Greet sponsored by Blue Hen Studios is tentatively scheduled for March 7th, 2009 from Noon-Sunset at a location to be determined.   

Classic Cars theme for this one!  40s, 50s, 60s era and any other hot cool cars and motorcyles!  Have anyone that has a great car - let us know!

UPDATE -We have had responses from those with some hot rods, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and a few other classic and  sports cars...for those bringing vehicles - please contact me about setup. 

Also - if you are forwarding this on to other (please do so) but please send me your email and we can put you on our email list for this event to make sure you get the most up-to-date information on this event and any of our future ones.

Here is a rundown of the event...

Noon - 2pm - Meet & Greet (Ok goes all day really) - Location of the Meet & Greet is at Blue Hen Studios!!!  (See www.bluehenstudios.com for directions)

2pm - Photoshootout Challenge, presentation of trophies to past winners, and other announcements

~5pm - Wrap & Review - Back inside at Blue Hen Studios

Photographers - please plan on bringing your camera, lenses, memory cards, and at least an onboard flash.     

Models - please bring up to 3 looks (recommended) if you so desire.   Models aged under 18 must have a parent or guardian to participate.

Ground Rules for the Shootout Challenge Portion of our Event:

1 - Have fun!

2 - You must be at the location on time!  Time is precious and we need to start on time to end on time.

3 - Trophies will be awarded to the winners of the challenge at the next Meet & Greet / Shootout Challenge.

4 - No nudity.  That goes double for the photographers!  lol.  Seriously though - this is in part a meet and greet so we want to keep it open to all and we ask that if you want to do this type of shoot it will not be endorsed by this event. 

These events have alot of interest and I have discussed it in general.  The specifics of the challenge will not be fully revealed until that day.

Photographers - be prepared to shoot on location...that means bring your stuff.

Models - if you have yet to be at one of our events, this is going to be the best one we have planned to date and you will definitely have some new "looks" for your portfolio!

Makeup Artists and Specialists - as always we need your assistance!

Please spread the word about this special event with your own contacts.  Should be alot of fun!

So that's what we have for now...again as always if you have ideas, sponsors, "ins", etc. you have for this event or future events just let me know...

For this event we kindly ask each photographer for a $20 contribution to attend this event.   If you are bringing one of the vehicles for the event - your in for FREE!  We appreciate it!  And no your 2002 Toyota Camry does not count!!!

Models, MUAs, and Specialists participating in the shootout challenge also attend for FREE!  However, we ask all to tip the MUAs and make sure they get copies of their work as well!

Again - I also need volunteers for this event!  I am looking for a handful of volunteers for setup, assisting in running the event, and judging the event.  Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering!  We need volunteers with setup, cleanup, and those willing to help run the event. 

We typically have 40-60 folks at our events.
