So I was strolling through the mall and decided to stop by Future Shop to go find a mouse for my new laptop. Then I discovered this big black sexy beast wink

I asked a couple employees if they had any, but no luck. They told me the Wacom rep just came in and set up a demo model and left. No word or price or availability.

I managed to get a few pictures, but sorry for the quality. I was on my iphone and kept on moving around in excitement big_smile. I might stop by tomorrow and get some actual pictures you can make sense of.

I was sort of in a rush, but from what I could gather - I think that is a scroll wheel on the side. Take note of the labeled presets as well. The pen seems/felt to have a larger diameter (controls quite nice in terms of feeling.) and the mouse is quite smaller. I believe they might have also updated the standard pen nib to solid(er) plastic. All in all, I like it.

Sorry if it's already been posted, I've been away from the forums. I did do a search, as well as a Google search.

that's interesting, i havent heard anything o.o but maybe i just live in a hole.

cool. thanks for sharing!

i like the wheel instead of strips... less movement lol. probably result in faster work flow with some practice.

The 3 wasn't that much different than the 2. I don't use all those buttons as I need the keyboard so I don't think I'd use a 4 also. lol. I wish the unit was small though so I can take it with my laptops.

Looks like the rectangular Touch Strip(s) have been replaced by that round thing.
No wonder they just had a $40 rebate going.

This explains why Best buy had all the Intous 3 on clearance.

What I never understood was the big Bamboo for 200.00 .

Oh wow. Looks like they added all the functions that I had to manually program into my two intuous3's. If I needed a new tab, I'd know what I'd be waiting for.

The control wheel is supposedly for increasing/decreasing brush size.
Very cool indeed...it might make me upgrade my Intuos2 :-)

It can be for that or a few other things.    The control wheel is already on the Bamboos so nothing new for Wacom there.
