Dude, I'm so totally rock'in this 19 shooter thing.  I call it 19 shooting cause I have a camera on my head, kinda like the bunny with a pancake on it's head but different, makes about the same amount of sense too.

Now I can rock on and make tons of money shooting video with my head while my hands rock making even more money taking pictures with a still camera.

Oh you want to see results? Check this Rock'in video/still movie thing I made dude, I'm so fucking proud of myself I made myself fart, twice!

My cool u-tub vedio http://youtu.be/mKl_NlCDzmg

rock on!

Not awesome, not even good. I have no idea what I'm doing.  I have no idea how to use the editing software I have, none, zip, nada.

But it is fun!

Uploading a video I shot with the GoPro on my head Para-Sailing in Catalina last week with Kelly.  Editing really sucks but the camera did very well, I was impressed.

I'll post a link to it later, it's taking forever to upload since I have a shitty ISP

The G12 does way better UW with video than the GoPro does, here is a test video if Kelly swimming UW shot on the G12

http://youtu.be/vT-DfKSLBMA

Now if I could just learn how to edit this stuff...

I've got Vegas 10, been playing around with stuff with the T2i.

Not terribly planning on using the video underwater neutral maybe sometimes during hikes and such.

Wow, just finished a convo with a model that I thought had her stuff together, turns out after setting a date for a trade shoot she wants to bring https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/ca/88-90_Ford_Escort_Wagon.jpg/120px-88-90_Ford_Escort_Wagon.jpgs to the shoot... yup, as she said, "you won't even know they are there"

Of course it was "only for her protection"...

I am one very https://assets.modelmayhem.com/images/smilies/scary.pngguy!

I like it well enough. Easy enough to sync separate audio / video... nice transitions.

I'll need to try it. I shot a bunch of video this morning of a race car starting up for the first time with my parts in it. 600HP to the wheels, it sounds so good. smile

Sony Vegas is great, especially the newer versions. It's nowhere on par with Final Cut, but for the price it's outstanding. If you guys need any tips on using it, just let me know. I've been doing video editing since the ol' Video Toaster days.

I did a shoot using those funny round memory cards. I think I'll do it again and shoot it one under then push it. I'll have to check posts on APUG but I don't remember Ilford Delta 3200 having contrast problems. https://templatesagogo.com/smileys/fantasticsmileys/5.gif

Anybody want to buy a bunch of seamless backdrop? I have red, studio grey, and white. Some have never been opened. I'd say about $120 worth of paper. Make me an offer...more that $40 and it's all yours!  All are 8' width by the way.

I've been shooting off road video with the G12 for over a year now and love it! I bought a RAM mount for the inside of the FJ and it works like a charm.

The Go Pro offers a little more durability in the way of being able to be mounted on a roll cage. smile  I rarely ever use the 7D for video.

Like you, I need to learn the editing part. The Youtube editor blows.

Again finding new revenue streams that don't involve bitchy llamas, scammers, and that allows me to get some exercise. 13K feet up in the mountains of Colorado will kick your ass when doing much more than holding a camera though!

supply and demand.

At this stage of the game, that's where I'd say R2K Studios is at right now. When I first shot at R2K I paid $40/hour for a two hour minimum and that included lights, modifiers, use of the paper, and furniture and props. Now they are $75/hour for just the studio, no lights, and Roxy wanted to charge me $10/foot for use of the paper. That was the last time I ever booked there. It's also about this point in town where everyone in town starts wondering why studio space is so fucking expensive in Vegas.

Exactly! After she scammed me on a studio rental that all of a sudden doubled and went "ala carte" because we needed to use a sofa, I wouldn't step foot in that place again if my life depended on it. I have made no bones about letting every one that asks what that place is all about. Funny enough that they guy that partnered with her to open the business went out of business first. I went to his fire sale. Bad business plans coupled with bad business sense and poor customer service will always end the same way.

That was the second partner. The first one, where the name R2k came from,  bailed right away. No matter, R2k is a distant memory. It's been a fitness studio for about 6 months now.
