Tell me about it! I bet it has something to do with the health inspector being here.

Oh, and it's clear liquids again today. I'm having another test tommorrow. sad

Back in the '80s, I helped my dentist restore his XKE with my trips to his office.

When i lived in DC my condo had a private parking space in a parking garage.  The space next to me had a V12 one of these in it with a layer of dust on it a quarter inch thick and the last time the tags had been updated was 1988... I tried for 2 years for the condo administration to let me know who's space it was, but they wouldn't tell me for privacy rules and nobody replied to the notices I put up.  I wanted to offer some little old lady or senile guy who owned it a couple thousand to "take it off their hands" (there were tons of people one step away from the home in my building)

Bet it is still there.... should have just towed it off with me when I left... nobody would have known

I have always had a spot in my heart for non-traditional war planes in WWII... the P-38 counted as one for sure.

My favorite was the Japanese Shinden

This is the unit that actually pioneered the use of the shark mouth motif:

They had a show on the military channel not too long ago about all the different planes the Japanese had in development right before they surrendered  .  .  .  we would have needed Captain America if they had gotten them into production  .  .  .  very strange, and lethal things  .  .  .  and what about the jets the Nazis had right at the end  .  .  .  war certainly moves technology along  .  .  .  but, at a pretty horrific price  .  .  .  I'm still good with biplanes, and dirigibles  .  .  .  wink
