Tis is like really old so bear with me I cant remember how I did it :-P

Eye was retouched, glass bubble things were rendered on separate layers using a technique from psd tuts and that mental wave explosion one. Color adjustment layers and painting for the iris and skin. Brush's used for the sparkles.....

I bounced a snooted light over her shoulder, off a piece of folded paper in Franciska's hands to light this scene. Then I drew the crystal ball in photoshop using various layers of white circles..

Image was shot on white background with 2 strobes.  A digital background was added and the color manipulated so that the model and the background are of the same color and tone.  The crystal ball was added and worked in CS2.

I don't know how you could have done this any better than you did. I love it!

I wasn't sure what to expect from today's topic but these photos have given me some ideas and desire to shoot something!!!!!!

to everyone.... here is a link to an awesome glass ball tutorial. I followed it exactly the way it was done and it worked perfectly. I see absolutely no reason why it shouldn't work in a situation like everyone is using here.
