Breast Implants....?
I'm just starting out modelling, and am wanting to do glamour, topless etc more than fashion. But looking through other models picture, I am so flat chested compared to them. So yay or nay to breast implants....?? I just feel they would boost my confidence loveeeee ashleigh xx Apr 12 10 04:31 am Link ashleigh jacques wrote: not nesaserily breast implants at all nless it is what you want, and not just for a modeling career that could only last you a few years, if you are lucky! Apr 12 10 04:38 am Link I much prefer natural over fake, but personal preference. Apr 12 10 04:39 am Link FYou and me both! been contemplating implants since I was 18, still haven't gotten them yet. its your decision to make! we cant make it for you. Make sure you do your research and truly get them for YOU! Any other reason would be silly. Apr 12 10 04:40 am Link ashleigh jacques wrote: I don't mean this to be rude or harsh, but it escapes me why any woman or model would think at artificial body parts would or should enhance your beauty or confidence! It's a myth. Apr 12 10 05:09 am Link Implants will not make you more in demand - quite the revese. In the UK most photographers and magazines are looking for 'natural only.' Sun, Page3 for instance has a policy of natural only models - so forget it. Apr 12 10 05:14 am Link So in closing, love yourself, improve yourself in way that you won't be ashamed of or regret as you mature. I dont think i could love myself anymore, as bad as that sounds. Apr 12 10 05:18 am Link Get some photo shoots with GOOD photographers. That will boost your confidence more than any implants ever will, and it's cheaper, less bother, and pain free. Good luck. Apr 12 10 05:23 am Link Personal choice, But my vote is nay. You will see some of the most successful models here have smaller breasts than me and I'm a guy! You would only go under the knife because you cant change that particular part on your own natural accord Focus on enhancing and perfecting everything else first, like facial expressions, arm work, leg work. learn to be dramatic, fun, angry and diverse. By the time you have reached perfection in front of a lens, the size/shape of your breasts wont matter at all... You'll be the wanted model for who you are, what you have achieved and what your capable of. Albert James Apr 12 10 05:31 am Link Generally my advice would be no... stay natural. But you cause to arise an additional question. How can one judge the necessity of a change when you can't even SEE what it is you want to change? Which brings me to another comment I can't resist. Why do models say in their profile they will do certain kinds of shots (and I don't mean just nudes) and then they don't show ANY examples of those shots? If you will do swimsuit - show yourself in a swimsuit; if you say you shoot fashion, show an example; and if you say you'll do nudes, SHOW AN EXAMPLE! And if you don't have any examples - get them BEFORE you publish your portfolio. Sorry for the rant and you aren't alone - I just don't understand it. Apr 12 10 05:45 am Link NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Just looked at your pics. Nothing wrong with you at all. Spend a few extra dollars to see a bra consultant who will give the perfect fit. Most women are wearing the wrong bra. Wear a push-up when you next a little boost. B cups stay looking good for a long, long time. From a personal observation, implants usually look like implants. They are almost always too big and almost always showing a defect. Your breasts will become all that anyone sees. You don't want that... Apr 12 10 07:27 am Link +1000000 to everyone saying no to breast implants Apr 12 10 07:31 am Link For my work breast implants are an automatic not interested. John Apr 12 10 07:44 am Link Implants can look very natural if they aren't overdone and done by a good surgeon, but don't go softball boobs. As a photographer though, I'd vastly prefer a naturally flat chested model to a big boobied fake chested one. As long as it looks very natural, that's what matters. Apr 12 10 07:46 am Link don't sweat breast implants at all guys care much more about butts than boobs i can assure you you're all beautiful you don't need to become silicone sisters guys don't care trust me Apr 12 10 07:49 am Link Apr 12 10 07:49 am Link ashleigh jacques wrote: You are not ready for implants until you can look at yourself in the mirror and say "I want them" and have NO questions about it. Apr 12 10 08:01 am Link when i joined mayhem i got a new camera (even though i had a perfectly adequate one) partly to boost my confidence which it did. so i understand that aspect of it better than i did before. do you know that photographers can plump what you have up a bit in photoshop using tools like liquify and dodge/burn? i like shooting natural (even if small) but i understand why some get the implants. just hopefully they get it done in a way that won't hurt their health on down the road. and maybe don't get huge, gravity-defying creatures that are out of proportion to your frame. Apr 12 10 08:03 am Link Ashleigh, there's a ton of work for models without resorting to breast surgery. I would worry more about tattoos than breast size if you're looking for a career in modelling. Apr 12 10 08:08 am Link dont get breast implants just because your modeling.get them if your unhappy about your breast in your regular life. Apr 12 10 08:09 am Link i love hair myself (especially wavy/curly). one model came with hair extensions that were fun. it's not all about the girls. but do make sure the bikini fits well for glamour shoots. personally i don't like seeing bikini bottoms that are all scrunched up. james damien wrote: Apr 12 10 08:11 am Link james damien wrote: yeah if your an ass man lol Apr 12 10 08:12 am Link Christoper Ross wrote: what do you mean by you'd worry more about tattoos?? Reason: off-topic Comments: just hiding the quote. Apr 12 10 08:31 am Link natural over fake Apr 12 10 08:34 am Link I'll say this, guys like breasts. Large, small, it doesn't matter to most. Natural is much more appealing than fake IMHO. I've seen too many distorted breasts and scars that just look unappealing. Apr 12 10 08:35 am Link Oh yay another breast implant thread. Ashleigh, breast implants for modeling? No. For your man? No. Breast implants for you? Yes. Everyone is going to have their own opinion on implants, (especially on this website!!). Apr 12 10 08:36 am Link If it's something you want for yourself personally then go for it. If it's because you feel you should do it for the sake of modeling only, then don't. Implants are a double edged sword anyway. You may get more work because of them or you may get less. That puts you at about even as far as that goes. For the record, you have plenty to be confident about already. Just trust that you should be. Apr 12 10 08:39 am Link one of our boudoir customers shot with us shortly after enhancement. i had to photoshop out the scars. she sounded a bit weary of the whole process that she had to go through and said she wouldn't do it over again. i was told that if they go through the nipple that kills sensitivity? that part doesn't sound good to me. However, this does not mean go have a kid... Apr 12 10 08:46 am Link Honestly, it's hard to judge from looking at your port. Beauty comes from confidence in one's own self. Frankly, a smaller chested woman is just as attractive as a woman with larger breasts. How a woman comes across in their demeanor and poise means everything. I would seek out talented Photographers, who can truly capture your beauty in the best light. I know that you will find that you are unique and truly sexy. However, in the end it's your choice. Should you decide to go with the implants, please do way more than enough research. Know ever possible risk, side effect, and benefit. Apr 12 10 08:50 am Link |
