Trains, Automobiles, Dogs, Snakes and OMG what did I miss…?

Well on May 15th CatWalk Studioz is hosting our Grand Opening Meet and Greet Networking Event, we are officially opening to the public after a year of getting things running the way we wanted. For those who do not know, CatWalk Studioz is a warehouse style studio with about 3000 square feet of space, lounge area, dressing rooms, MUA station, etc and all available for rent.  It has a rich urban environment outside- train tracks, bridges, warehouse buildings, etc. If you missed our March 27th event you cannot miss this one, we learned many things and implemented changes from the feedback we received so… we are making this a more organized and worthwhile event.

What do Models, Photographers, Designers/Wardrobe Stylist, or MUA/Artist/Hair Stylist get out of a event such as this?….NETWORKING, getting discovered, build a diverse portfolio, model  designer outfits, work  with some of the best talented people in the DMV area, all in one place! The limits are endless.

We will provide a map to places of interest to photographers and models that identify several locations for causal outdoor shoots in the area around the studio. In addition, we want our guests to keep in mind that this event is open to guests of all ages.

Come promote your skills, network and connect with other professionals in the industry, as well as enjoy the party. This is your time to shine and get your pictures taken by Professional Photographers ready to make you look like a super star. MUAs and Hair Stylists will be available to make your Glamour Shoot an experience you will remember.

Photographers: This will be a time to network with other models and get an opportunity to shoot them in unique outfits and themes. Come enjoy the Music. Meet other photographers and be entered to win a 3-month membership. Promote your skills, business, and your creations.

Agencies, Promoters, Managers, etc bring business cards and enjoy the show.

Prizes

Trophies will be awarded from the last photo shootout contest then we are unveiling the photo shootout challenge competition for this event! (Details soon).

Meet and Greet Information:

There will be Hairstylists, Wardrobe Stylists, Designers available to models and photographers “PLEASE TIP OUR  ARTISTS” for their services.

Contests
Body Painters (five Confirmed Painters) 
** There will be a contest for the best body painting, and best photo taken of the painted models.
Painters will have to paint one male and one female model

CatWalk Studioz staff and two randomly chosen guests will judge artwork. You will be judged based on originality, beauty, and composition.

Body Paint will be judged at 5PM

Prize will be Trophy, free in-house Photoshoot  session, “first choice” referrals, and advertizing in CatWalk Studioz website and other media.

Photographers: Will receive a (3) Month membership, 1000 comp cards, (1) of your images posted on our sideshow, and a shoot with any in-house catwalk model.

Models: Will receive complete portfolio package including 500 business, 500 comp cards, and concept shoots with staff photographers to build their portfolio.

MUA: Will receive 500 business, 500 comp cards and (1) month membership and shoot with staff photographers to build their portfolio.

Raffles

There will be raffles drawn every hour starting 11PM

Raffle Prizes: Studio Time, Tee Shirts, Business Cards

50/50 Raffle to be drawn three times...The first at 1PM, second at 4PM, third at 7PM

Meet and Greet Admission

* General Admission includes three tickets for one drink, snack and a plate of food.

Guests can purchase additional food items from the outside CatWalk Grille.

Any one who registers as "Press" for press credentials are free of charge (your credentials will be validated)

Meet and Greet comes with four inside stations, VIP area (station 4).

Outside stations-  Car & Bike section, Railroad, Fire Station Theme, 5 Outside Backdrop stations...(bring your own lights power will be provided)

Photographers will have a wristband and are required to wear the band at ALL times throughout the event.

Will feature clothing and jewelry designers:

LIVE Band will play from 12 noon to 2PM (band to be announced)

Grand Opening will feature the CatWalk Studioz Bazaar

The Bazaar will contain six vendors at a time in 4hr intervals

**VIP** $20 includes Champagne, Appetizers, Beverages, Chocolates- private shooting area and lounge.

VIP is also complimentary if you are providing services in your respective fields (MUA, Hairstylist, Wardrobe Stylist, Body Painter).  Please contact me prior to the event if you intend to provide services, email “[email protected]” to be added to the list space is limited!

Catwalk Event  Rules
There will be no smoking of any kind indoor
Please keep in mind that this is a networking event and you should treat everyone with respect:
•Do not follow people around or bug anyone to shoot with  you

•If something dont appeal to you because of someones style, genre or artistic views. Do not start arguments based on conflicts of artistic views.

•Just because there will be people who specialize in nude modeling, it doesn't mean anyone is obligated to take his or her clothes off for you.

•This is an adult function and I expect everyone to act accordingly.

•There will not be ANY nude modeling in the main area till 12am rent out the “private station” more one on one.

•Implied will be permitted only with permission of the house from 2pm to 12am after that everyone can get there freak on.

•Photographers are welcome to bring there lights and equipment but please contact me before you bring it inside.

Will Love your Help
In addition to your attendance, there are three more ways to support this event with donations this will be very helpful and will go towards door prizes.. we are not doing this for profit.

We will need some manual labor, to help me prepare the studio for the event. This includes cleaning the studio and setting up the area 2 days prior to the event, as well as setup help the night before the event. Cleanup is also greatly appreciated after … if anyone works in a morgue that's a plus “so we can hide the dead bodies”
