Skyline Meet is a social networking event for photographers of all levels as well as anyone who enjoys nature. Events are held twice a year, once in May and once in October. We will be holding our 8th semi-annual meet on Sunday, Oct 17th, 2010 (Tentative). We will be meeting at 10:30am in the parking lot of K-Mart in Front Royal. The address is: 465 SOUTH ST, Front Royal, VA, 22630 We will caravan into the park as a group. The entrance fee to the park is $15 per vehicle. Carpooling is in everyone's best interest. It will be easier for me to manage the group when fewer cars are involved. Details of stops are being planned. This is an all-day event, but you are free to break off from the group. Like our prior meets, I will invite the group that stayed together the whole time to have dinner in Front Royal after we exit the park. This is a family-friendly group. Please feel free to bring children and pets. Please limit yourself to casual photography only. Commercial photography will require a permit. What to bring: Picnic food walkie talkie change of clothes just in case you get wet. Please let me know if you plan on attending so I can have an idea of how many to expect. I will have no idea what is being said or posted on Face Book, etc. Have enough 'puter problems without asking more with "Tweeting & Booking". I do have a National Parks Pass, and can get in free, as well as 2 or 3 others over 18 years who may be riding with me in my OLD Grand Cherokee. (We may have to tag along behind by ourselves when you-all go thru the gates) Of course, since I am an antique myself, if your planning to hop a free ride with me, you'll have to keep in contact to make sure my body still says GO when the time comes.
