What did you get replaced this time?

I just saw an article about knee replacement on bay news 9

http://www.baynews9.com/content/news/ba … _knee.html

162 percent increase in the total volume of primary procedures, from 93,230 to 243,802

50% increase in would infections

100% increase in serious side effects - hemmorhage, DVT's, heart attacks

Those numbers are not very good as far as complications go!
Hope you are alright!

It's my other hip, I wanted a matched set  .  .  .  wink  Now it looks like I have two lawn mowers sewn inta me when I go through the airport  .  .  .  I'm almost 50% "Terminator" status with my newest addition  .  .  .  no knees yet, thankfully, probably the most painful, and hardest joint replacement to recover from  .  .  .  no infections (well, there's that one, but "they" said it would clear up with the new save they gave me  .  .  .  )  .  .  .  I am fairly complicated though  .  .  .  wink  Thanks for the concern CR, everything seems pretty good so far, PT three times a day, no pain meds, and Jake is by my side in case of emergencies  .  .  .

That sounds good!  Congrats!  I was out of work for 18 months and burned through my entire life savings...just started a new job a couple weeks ago.  I'm crawling my way out of the hole and there is light at the end of the tunnel after all.

Looks like I'm going to be one of Santa's helpers at Bass Pro Shops for Christmas AND I'm going to be tutoring a couple of people learning Photoshop basics. I may be the guy who snaps the pictures when moms plop their kids in Santa's lap...

Not me, but you get the idea...

Halloween was fun back in the '50s. Today it's all blood and guts and zombies. With apologies to Carl, I just don't see the fun. Except for that pornstar thing.

Shooting sexy Pinup Zombies tomorrow...this should be interesting. Then a band photo gig at some friends' show tomorrow night, a junkyard/model shoot Sunday morning, and a sunset beach shoot to close out the weekend.

I think I need more batteries.

Agreed...
Then again I'm always in my truck on Halloween(I usually spray blye streaks in my hair that day and watch the oober goober obese super truckers stare at me(not that they don't anyway when I pull into a truck stop blasting out Lamb of God and getting out with the guns pumping and such)

Though I will never get tired of the slutty costumes(provided they are not worn or seen by my eyes at any woman you would usually see at a truck stop yikes )
