So I guess our meet and greet is going to be truly old school

Just the regulars getting together to shoot the shit

I doubt that we will have 25 people there

But it will be good to meet with old friends and say hello

Not necessarily a bad thing.  I will do my best to stop by for a few minutes with my kids in tow.  smile

October 11th, right?

Oct 11th at 3pm.  I'll stop by the Indian Rocks Beach Crabby Bills location.  I can only stop by for 30 minutes max.  The party will have to carry on without me after that.  Hopefully everyone can show up between 3-3:30 so I can say hi.  smile

Edit: If anyone wants to meet a few minutes earlier than 3...let me know and I can do that.  "Stuff" came up with the kids so I just can't hang out long.

Carl, Joe, Ice, you?, me....  I might have the option of driving my kids down the beach to their grandparents' place for a little while then I could visit longer possibly.  What about Brian Chan, Keith...?  Anyone else?  Orias?  I think MM is nearly dead and a lot of the old regulars, including those that are somewhat local, just don't visit here any longer.  I know I have had a few stretches of time where I have not been around....

Evidently I need to check the Forums more often when I'm on MM...still network here daily, just don't get into the discussions much. This is the first I've heard about a get-together in months. Then again, maybe that was by design, and I should take the hint...

At any rate, family shoots scheduled for afternoon and evening...wish I would have known. Have fun!

I'm already tapped with plans.. And honestly, I didn't realize this was the finalized date.. May have just misread posts..

And honestly, if this was the only place it was posted, I suspect turnout will be sparse.. Don't know if the usual tagging system went out but the threads have been quite for sometime now..

Yeah Chris, haven't shot models in a while and my back yard tends to remain available sooo....figured I would entertain myself in this way for a while.  I have been using different techniques to create these HDR images and I seem to be refining different techniques each time.  The image from last night was a combination of 9 photos.

Thanks sos, sending PM.

We're missing this year as well, 15 of 'em for me and the missus...not nearly the run you've had, but disappointing nonetheless.

Nah, I don't get cut until the 29th, so, I'll be trick or treating as a grumpy old guy with a walker (no, not Jessie)  .  .  .  they're afraid I may have too much fun, and "slightly" over imbibe in a few questionable avenues (speaking of which, did anyone see John Morgan's pot "speech"  .  .  .  )  .  .  .  I'm within' my surgery window, so, I'm not allowed to be tempted  .  .  .  hope that doesn't include 3 Musketeers Bars, or I'm in BIG trouble  .  .  .  wink  Are ya workin' out at HHN's at Universal this year CR?????  Ol' Yellar and I are in a homecoming parade tonight for a local high school, that's about as close as I get to bein' a star  .  .  .

Chris, it was no biggie, I just found it funny. Pic of the Day contest (not the big main one)...my pic won, but they DQ'd it, saying that some people that voted were from Florida, and were friends. Evidently, that type of black magic witchcraft isn't allowed.

Oh,the circle jerk contest the origional version....where if none of the 6 regulars win they always protest....
My first win (with Sami Smith) was protested because one of her friends voted and she is from Fla(her friend who voted also is a regular participant btw).....and people complained about my Brittany Rhea win because only 4 people entered  and 12 voted..8 for mine(said it should have b een a no contest day because it was so sorely non eventful)

Its amazing what wins there

You still won btw...even after people bitched about a noob...

No I did not get cast this year
Probably just as well, cause I'm in TERRIBLE shape
Way, Way, Way over weight
And that job is brutal on you physically

So all in all, probably for the best
Maybe next year

So Jesse had his workshop this past weekend
All in all it went well
Only thing is on Sunday, for the nude workshop, one of the 2 nude models cancels 15 minutes after call time.

Some serious scrambling to get a fill in model
Did not end up finding another nude model, but did get a fill
But still...D'OH!

Next event is at Maitland Art Center on November 1

He's already got 143 people signed up for this with an additional 89 maybe's
