Wow, we're literally 2 blocks south west of the street closures.  Main and 3rd.

Good info guys. Also remember that area has alot of 1 way streets. Best way to get there would be to use the 110 or 10.

I'm on a day to day basis. I'm still in a lot of pain. Pain killers given to me makes me throw up. I can barely move and it hurts to breathe. I might need a ride to the shoot if I'm able to go.

Dump the Vicodin Drew. Call the Doc and get Darvocet or Percocet instead. Just don't drive while you're taking them. Hate to see you in court with a DUID charge. smile

Have fun at the shoot guys, looks like I'm missing a winner, but I couldn't saw through the ankle irons in time. tongue

Hey, last link in the chain, who wants to be dragging around a rusty chain during a shoot like this? Now maybe if it was a fetish shoot....  wink

Hey Drew if you need a ride I'm in riverside by the 15. I'm in the morning half so if you still need a ride someone else in the swing shift can bring you back

Just a head's up guys.  The L.A. Marathon is on the same day as the shoot.  The route is north of the location, but allow yourself some extra time as there may be added traffic Downtown or possible road closures.

Here's the official list of street closures (and map):

Drew was checking out a girl on the beach over his shoulder and tripped over a rock. He was carrying two vagabond II and all his equipment so it was a hard fall so he hurt his back. Lets all wish him a speedy recovery.

Friggin awesome shoot Drew and Karl. The best that I have been to yet. I loved it and the models .... the models ..... talk about getting some of the most beautiful I have seen at one shoot .... awesome. And the location was not all that bad ,,, are you kidding, friggin ... friggin awesome. Thanks guys.

And for all the models that were there you made it happen. You performed like true pros. Everyone of you. I can't get over how many great pics I got. My only saddness is that I could not have done more for you. Unfortunately Social Security checks are hard to live on. But, if I should get lucky enough to win the Mega Lotto or Super Lotto each of you will be on my list of those I want to work with. I thank each one of you for being understanding. You are the greatest. You truly are the greatest.

What can we say that hasn't already been said in every D&K event thread!  Another amazing event put together on an awesome location with some great models!  The weather didn't keep us down today that's for sure!  I'm sure everyone else got some really cool shots in this new unique location.

My new favorite Cauc-"asian" model, Ally!  She's awesome!

Thank you for the kind words Ruben. I would like to thank the owner of the bank vault for letting us use this amazing location. I'm sure we will use it again in the near furture. Thank you for the attending photographers. You guys were very professional and keep posting them amazing images that you took. And to the models, We couldn't do this without you. No issues. Everything went smooth. They are all PROFESSIONAL and gorgeous. That's all we bring to our shoots. Check them out. Quality vs quantity.

Another great shoot Drew & Karl. This was a fantastic location and there was plenty of shoot locations for all. Do hope you do another one here again. Here is my contribution to the thread.

Outstanding lighting and composition.  Model truly gives a true feeling of intensity and strength, almost like Samson in the bible.  Definitely one of the finest images to come from a K&D shoot.  Bring back this model!

This was actually an 8 light setup.  Originally a 7 light setup Jonathan and I thought of, but then Gary added a primary light.

You guys are quick. I haven't even registered my stuff with the US Copyright Office, yet. tongue

Solid shoot. Great collaboration as always. We'll have to push the limit for the next shoot and go beyond an 8 light setup.
