I never understood foot fetishes (but hell, none of us get to choose what we're attracted to).
If anything, I'm more aware of unattractive feet when I see them - and the problem is most feet are unattractive to me.

It's not that simple. There are degrees, just like everything else.
It's no different, say, than a guy who likes seeing two chicks kissing. Generally, men don't actually have fetishes for that, we just like the way it looks and find it arousing. Probably in a "more of a good thing" kind of way. It's just a common inclination towards the sexual aesthetics seeing a woman being sexual with a partner who we also find sexually attracting. Having an appreciation for the sexual aesthetics of two hot chicks isn't indicative of having a fetish for that, it just means you find it hot. If you could not get off without having the sexual interaction of two women, then you might have a fetish. Most guys don't fall into that category.
Seeing feet as part of a woman's sexual appeal doesn't mean you can't get off without feet, all it means is that it has a sexual value to you. That appreciation in and of itself doesn't make it a fetish. And if feet weren't meant to be part of a woman's visual appeal, they certainly wouldn't put so much effort into making them look nice.
