Follow 2nd and Pacific BLVD down to the Ocean City Beach Access

Friday, June 17th: low tide 8:41am- high tide 3:30pm
Saturday, June 18th: low tide 9:23am- high tide 4:13pm

When: June 17th 18th  *If it rains we will have to plan another date*

Time: Horses and Dogs available by 11am. All other arrangements should be made between photographers and models! Horses will be available in 30-45 minute slots.

Age and other requirements: 18+ with current ID, signed hold harmless contract for use of horses, any photographer/model contracts

Cost: TF*

This is for June 17th and 18th. I will be getting to Ocean Shores Thursday the 16th in the evening.
Models so far:
Jewel *currently has dreadlocks* (not on MM) please contact me to arrange shoots with her. She will be in my carpool and attending both Friday and Saturday. She is available for one on one or group shoots and is open to pretty much anything.


Lauren J (not on MM) Will be in my carpool and available for after hours shooting if pre-planned. She will be attending both Friday and Saturday comfortable working in groups or one on one. Please contact me for her information. 


Soleil (Not on MM contact at [email protected]) Will be attending Friday the 17th only.

Horses that will be there:
Legacy: 15.3 hand Gypsy Vanner Mare. Can be ridden in English tack or bareback with an english bridle. I do not have western gear for her. Her tail will be let down for the shoot.

Mikie: 19 hand Belgian Draft Gelding. Can be ridden in English gear or bareback, no western gear fits him.


Dogs: Zeus and Orion my two Great Danes




I will be bringing my Gypsy Vanner Legacy, my friends Belgian gelding, and my Great Danes Zeus and Orion. I have three horses pending for Saturday to make a total of 5 horses available on Saturday if they can make it. I only require a hold harmless agreement signed before the use of any horses. It covers my booty and the other owners if G-forbid anything happen. All horses have wonderful training under them and I and the other horse owners will be there to supervise their use. We will be bringing horses fit for all levels of experience. They might be big but that is why they are called Gentle Giants.

This is open to all comfort levels and the use of the animals is up always an option. I have this posted in the casting call section on Model Mayhem as well where I hope to get in contact with other photographers and models interested in participating.

All this is TF* since I'm not in the position to pay but I can bring bottled water and snack plates!

Anyway I thought I would throw this out there! Photographers, Models, Artists! Even if you'd just like to come and say hello!

Quick note to all interested in attending!

In order to keep this a professional shoot I would greatly appreciate if escorts/significant others be left at home or off doing something else if they must come along. Unless of course your significant other is part of the photo shoot! I trust the use of good judgement in that case.

I know it might sound unreasonable being the beach can be a very romantic place but given that this will have other people modeling, the group is large and it is in a public environment this will be a safe shoot.

I would prefer and be more comfortable knowing the possible confrontation posed by significant others and over bearing escorts is not going to be a problem.

I completely understand if this isn't possible and some of you might pull out because of this. I'm sorry in advance.

I don't have any pictures of the location. I actually haven't been there for about 5 years. I haven't had the money for the gas to get down there up until now.

If you google search Ocean Shores it'll show you the beach and if you search Nansea Stables it'll show you the beach behind that facility. However I do not know if it is open to outsider other than clientele or visiting boarders.

When I spoke with Ocean Shores staff they said on the satellite map you will see 3 entrances. The second and third are the best option for limited traffic.

Interested. Might bring a faster camera this time.

I will be heading down thursday the 16th so we can start earlier on Friday.

Hey! I have been talking to Jack Kegley and I will be coming on the 18th! I am hoping to both model with the animals (I rode and trained horses for 10yrs, so I am hoping to possibly be doing some bareback riding?) and possible a guy, and I will also be bringing my camera and possibly trying to get some photos of my own if anyone wants to model for me

Awesome! You are more than welcome to ride Legacy bareback and Mikey as well however he does have the Belgian motion and isn't the smoothest with his transitions. I will add you to the attending list and please feel free to contact anyone else you'd be interested in working with! And of course the other four leggers are open for use!
