The Walking Dead Season 3
I loved the recent episode. But as usual there is yet to be an episode I haven't liked. Shit is going down! Mar 12 13 10:20 am Link Though I haven't seen the new episode yet, it already sounds good! I don't mind the little spoilers on this forum haha. I'm excited for the outcome at the very end. Does anyone have predictions as to who might die? Carol had a few close calls this season! I don't think she will last to long. Mar 12 13 11:08 am Link Good lord!!!! Definitely one of my favorites! One episode left, which sucks...but it'll be awesome...but then it will suck waiting the whole summer again...but it'll be awesome...but it sucks...oh hell. Mar 24 13 08:31 pm Link Poor Daryl Mar 24 13 08:35 pm Link Gallery 59 Photography wrote: I agree, great episode, but we'll have Mad Men, Game of Thrones and Falling Skies to hold us over until Halloween. World War Z if you can't live without your zombies. Mar 24 13 09:30 pm Link how I predict season finale: more feet dragging cliffhanger at the start of the prison attack next season fast forwarded into the future with a lot of gaps little action Mar 24 13 10:00 pm Link I CRIED!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO how could they, how could they!!!!! _ was my favourite and gave the best acting of the bunch NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! :'( Mar 25 13 07:03 am Link I'll be incredibly pissed if the Governor doesn't die in the next episode. Mar 25 13 09:18 am Link Why would Rick or anybody but Andrea think the Govs offer was genuine ?? 1st big fail by the writers of the series Mar 25 13 10:55 am Link Caperucita Roja wrote: I cried too but more for Daryl...really intense... Mar 26 13 03:16 pm Link i was really surprised to see that Gov made thru the trap 2 episodes ago. dont know how the final ep is gonna go down but i hope there is tons of action and the Gov dies. and the cliffhanger isnt left till season. Mar 26 13 03:17 pm Link Carlos Occidental wrote: Me too! I hope Michonne is the one who delivers the final blow =p preferably by slicing his head off lol Mar 26 13 03:34 pm Link Was that remotely what happened in the comic book? Mar 31 13 09:45 pm Link Robert Feliciano wrote: Nope. Apr 01 13 06:07 am Link I don't get why people hate on Andrea so much. Is it so bad that in a world that went to shit, seeing people you love die, that you don't want others you care about to die as well? Granted she didn't want the Governor to die before she knew what he was really like, but...can people blame her? She only saw what he allowed her to see... I'm going to miss her. She was a badass with a heart. Apr 01 13 06:38 am Link That was garbage... I guess I won't spoil it for anyone, but I won't be bothering with next season. Thank goodness Dexter starts early this year. Apr 01 13 07:40 am Link I liked the finale. Of course I'm biased, since I'm a huge fan of the show. I'd heard through the grapevine that Andrea was supposed to follow the arc in the comic book, but the actress who plays her couldn't come to terms with the producers when it came to money, so she essentially got offed. Showrunner Glen Mazarra, a huge part of the show's direction and writing, has evidently left the show as well due to creative differences. Enormous success always seems to screw things up. As for the final episode, didn't see the Governor going so far over the deep end this quickly. Carl is going to be a big issue next season. Poor screwed up kid! Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, said his character is going to be darker next season as a result of Merle's death. Overall, I liked the somber ending of the season and was happy we didn't get a cliched "fight to the death" episode between the prison and Woodbury. I'm hoping this is Kirkman's influence (he created the comics) and that we continue to get these unpredictable twists and turns. Gonna be a long summer for me personally while I wait for the next season. Ugh... Apr 01 13 10:04 am Link Can we please talk about Andrea's pedicured toes during the scene where she's picking up the screwdriver with her toes? That bugged the shit out of me. Apr 01 13 10:09 am Link wasnt really so thrilled about the ending. really wanted to see a fight scene but the gov snapping was really something. as a related note, the son gets my nod for the most badass kid actor since.. probably gary coleman. he's gonna have issues when he grows up. Apr 01 13 01:02 pm Link I imagine Andrea getting up to heaven and meeting her Dad and sister. Dad - "It took you *that long* to figure out the fishing thing? God forbid you should pay attention. Oh, and way to look after your sister." Amy - "The fishing thing's like an issue with him. He won't let it go." Apr 01 13 05:57 pm Link I really dug the ending. Everyone pretty much banked on a big war. I did. Going that route that would have made for more casualties on team Rick. The Governor did all the dirty work for them. Well played on our TWD friends. Rick: Ty for coming back from Crazy Daryl: When your done kicking ass here they can use you in Westeros to get it sorted. Michonne: I think you now have a home! Hershel: You are wise, like Gandalf. Glenn and Maggie: Such a cute couple in matching outfits! Carol: I used to hate you but, your coming around to the world you now live in. I'm pretty sure the laundry is piling up though... Andrea: I get it, I do but bye! Lori/Ghost of Lori: Na na na na Hey Hey Hey good bye! You sucked in real TWD life and you suck in TWD afterlife. Go. Governor: Take your one good eye and go live out your days somewhere else dude. and Carl: Carl carl carl Carl. We need to find you a Nintendo Wii or something to let out some of that ticking time bomb aggression. When the hit goes out on Joffery Baratheon your the first to be called in for an interview cause your resume is solid. Andrea, Rick, Tyrese... I did like their play of The Governor though. But yeah, they are screwing up some of the main characters. I'm unsure if I'm going to continue to watch. Probably, but we'll see. Andrea is not a weak little manipulative cunt in the comics. She's a pure bad ass with a good heart, and has an integral role in the groups survival for a long time to come. They spent the entire season building up for the big battle and it was nothing more than a minor skimish with none of the 'good guys' being able to shoot 30 or so people lined up right in front of you inside their own ambush. Lame shooting for sure. And they leave the Gov storyline hanging? you invested fan's for an entire season to see him get his due and you failed to deliver the payoff. and how long does it take to pick up pliers with your feet? Apparently, an entire HOUR, provided you take long pauses to discuss issues with a dying man of course lOL Apr 02 13 06:54 am Link -Nicole- wrote: Apr 02 13 07:03 am Link bgcfoto wrote: I thought it was funny. *Shrugs* Apr 02 13 07:26 am Link -Nicole- wrote: it was, but I always place smiles all over the internet I wanted to mix it up. Apr 02 13 07:30 am Link bgcfoto wrote: Apr 02 13 07:46 am Link Someone should re-watch "Mr Worf: Fire!" to see how a thrilling season finale is done right. This wasn't it. Lot's of buildup leading to a big showdown that didn't happen. TWD reminds me of the similiarly-themed "Falling Skies" and other post-apocalyptic shows in that regard - it bores me to tears whenever there's no onslaught of relentless action driving the story forward. The writing of the characters is just too incoherent, shallow and simplistic to make the show work in its character drama moments. Which unfortunately make up 80 % of the running time. AMC's other hit show Mad Men is just the other way round - no action at all, but an excellent character drama. Maybe the new TWD brass should hire some of the Mad Men writers if they don't have the budget for shootouts in every episode. Apr 02 13 01:06 pm Link |
