... pit you in an existential struggle against yourself?
... turn you into a tentacled monstrosity?
... generally, work with you to create a dark-ish fantasy/scifi scene?

Maybe.

Yes, please. You can rock the action look:

And I bet with your acting background you could wage a pretty epic battle against yourself on a green screen. But what would your other self look like? I'm just not sure I could see you as a tentacled monstrosity, although I bet you could pull off something really sinister if you were so inclined.

No. While you are quite beautiful and talented within the styles you have chosen, I see no grit or darkness, and little expressive range. Your profile does mention a bit about acting, though, so if were already working together on something else, it could come out in discussion that you could work smashingly for for this stuff, but I wouldn't think to approach you about it, because your look is so very different from what I normally consider.

Maybe. Your port is diverse enough to make it imaginable that you could do a dark-ish fantasy scene. There is something just chilling about your stare here:

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/120421/10/4f92eee13a6e8_m.jpg

You seem adaptable enough to work a completely imaginary scene, though I would wonder about your range of facial expressions. I would probably approach you with a few ideas and see if anything works out.

Yes, provided you could convince me that you could get the facial expressions I look for. Can you look angry? Aggressive? Sinister? It's hard to tell by your port; I think you try in some images but it comes across as half-hearted. You get a headstart on most others though because you already embrace a style that works easily with the projects I do. I'm pretty sure we would quickly get on the same page with style for a shoot.

Yes. You've easily got the style I look for in these shoots, and because I deal so heavily in composites that pit the model against themselves, it's easy to see you could do that. Your expressive range is apparent, though not overdone. Heck, I've already unconsciously been milling around ideas that I would probably approach you with, were you around these parts.

You get instant bonus points for having just the kind of look that gets my attention when casting for this stuff. Monsters and beautiful goth-y girls go together, right? I like where you're going with your port, but you don't strike me as being altogether comfortable in front of the camera. The only image where I think you are comfortable and expressive is this one:

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/120503/18/4fa337ca92122_m.jpg

Everything else seems hesitant. That would show easily in a shoot where everything is imaginary but you. As you grow your port and add more diversity, I might be inclined to think otherwise, but not today. I do think you're on a path to badassery, though. smile

No. The style and expressive range I look for with these shoots is non-existent in your port, and there is nothing in your profile to suggest that this is the sort of subject you would be interested in. I think you're probably pretty good at what you, but what you do and what I do are worlds apart in style and genre.

As for the images with the white outfit... I think you only need the first *or* second of the set.

Maybe. I have sort of the same thoughts looking at your port as I had with Paige's above. Your port is strong and fairly versatile, and while I'm not sure you'd be a good fit for a good monster-ification, I might approach you with some ideas and see if we get on the same page. I like that you're into vaguely dark steampunk styles, which would be fun to incorporate. I think you could pull off some pretty cold wicked looks with your eyes alone, too.

It tells me you can imagine something not in the scene, and do some expression and pose to match it. On the other hand, I don't see anything particularly dark or gritty there, so I might not think to approach you about such a project.

Looking quickly through your port/profile, I wouldn't think to ask you to work on one of my projects. Given your style, I would be surprised at any interest in my projects and inclined to say no. For what you do, you're great; for what I do, though, I just don't see it.

You're comfortable in front a camera, your expressive range is great, and you have a clear ability to apply yourself to a concept and make a scene out of it. I would most certainly contact you for one of my projects if you were local.

Your port is very limited right now. There is a look of mild discomfort, hesitance, or self-consciousness that is in all of your pictures. Something tells me that you could probably get into the style of one my projects, but without experience to reinforce that interest and apply it, it would be a risky shoot. So... no.

Don't sweat it; it's the catch 22 of port development, right? When you eliminate the cruft, you're left with a selection that may make a better impression with people who shoot the style to which you have most targeted yourself. The other effect is that it's harder to target styles that aren't immediately obvious within the reduced selection. I did the same thing some months ago and was convinced I wouldn't be able to book any shoots with my shoddy selection. Don't take it as discouragement that anyone would pass; there only 6 images in your port here. Take it as a reason to shootshootshoot and better show the full range of what you can and want to do. smile

Your portfolio is diverse enough, so I would want to chat with you about whether you would be game. As I've suggested to others, expressive range is important, and I think you wear the same expression in almost all of your images. I could be convinced otherwise.

The entirety of your port tells me you're super comfortable in front of the camera, nude or not, regardless of location. I think we could easily figure out some abstract ideas, and you could pose yourself with minimal direction on a blank set. That and the consistent quality of your work is what would make me think you could fit in one of my weirder projects.

There? Everywhere? Sure! I really like the range in your port. You're another swiss army knife; even though I don't immediately see the style I'm looking for, your expressions and poise make it easy to see past that and give the impression that, if asked, you could make a convincing be-tentacled monstrosity or interact with your imaginary self.

I also find lately that I love working with models who have extensive experience with dance. The sense of one's body that goes with it seems to make an easier time of pretending one is not where they really are. That sense comes across in a lot of your images, though depending on our concept I might nudge you to leverage your experience to create poses that show more tension.

Of course I would! You've just about got it all: dark and gritty style, great poise, gorgeous ink (more pictures showing off the work on your back, please smile), and I can see that you're accustomed to working through weird ideas with the photographer to get great images. I would happily contact you and see what sort of bump in the night we could make of you! Although your port does steer me in a different direction of figure work, which I would also happily discuss with you.

You seem very tactile and in tune with your environment, great for on-location shoots... so I wonder how working on a green or black screen would affect your sense of this stuff, if at all.

Note - can't view you non-worksafe stuff atm, but there's plenty of other material so I'll go with that.

Probably. While I can figure an obvious fit into a concept for you, I can see some hints in your port that we could probably figure something out. The thing that makes me hesitant is that very few of your images show any sense of dramatic pose or expression. Your expressions are mostly the same throughout, and poses are very reserved.

Here are two of the hints I get that make me think we could do something dramatic:

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/110504/15/4dc1ce16bd8b7_m.jpg

^ Tells me you can be more dynamic in pose than what the rest of your port implies.

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/110709/01/4e180fe43e447_m.jpg

^ Tells me that you can work on expressions to fit some imaginary scene.

So, a conversation, and based on that, maybe a shoot. smile
