I really do need to practice my runway walk, but I have a little problem; I'm bow-legged.  Is there any method that can help me improve my walk, or am I doomed?

just grab a full length mirror, place it at the end of the hall, and try a gazillion different walks until you find your signature walk that works for you. then practice it to death until it's second nature. good luck! smile

You might be able to compensate with a more exaggerated "walking the tightrope".  I've seen some models downright cross their legs one after the other when they walk, so much so that they almost zig-zag down the catwalk.  That might help create the illusion that your legs are straighter together?

Thanks for the tips guys!  I'll keep those in mind, except the orthopedist one, lol.

Sorry for bringing this up from the past. Great tip that someone else might need to look for.

The best you can do is perfect your runway walk, with bowed legs.  Expect to only be booked for shows where the designer doesn't mind bow-legged llamas.

I wonder if anyone replying to this post bothered to even look at her port and images. She is not that bowlegged.  In fact her images barely show it if at all. My advise practice your walk, posing and presence. Because you look is stunning.

Be easy,

Alvin

Yes, the man who fell to Earth.

There was talk of a sequel "The Man Who Fell From A Tree" but poor Kiss Richards did it in real life...

I did, and none of the images she had posted will show whether she does or does not have bowed legs; no shots that are "straight on and standing straight". Before anyone can say if she does or does not have a problem for a fair assessment, a photo without the posing "tricks" will need to be seen.
