Jun 21 13 07:28 pm Link Well, the chickens inspired me. So I uploaded a few. They apparently hated all of my fashion, but a picture of the pyramids made it through. http://www.vogue.it/en/photovogue/Portf … 86fc/Image Jun 23 13 01:51 am Link i went thru a phase of submitting a few images and then just lost interest in it after a while but here is the link to the ones they seem to like http://www.vogue.it/en/photovogue/Portf … 2b92/Image Jun 23 13 02:34 am Link Here are mine: http://www.vogue.it/photovogue/Profilo/ … e75f2/User Jul 08 13 12:39 am Link Only a couple: http://www.vogue.it/en/photovogue/Profi … ee7b3/User Jul 08 13 01:08 am Link me voy wrote: Have you actually visited the site? I hate all these photo awards and competitions where you're supposed to tip organizers for each of your submissions. I believe they (not PhotoVouge which is perfect!) could have better (and more honest) business model in place to cash out on stupid masses (reminds me these zillion of models starving to death in NYC whose hope for miracle is exploited by model agencies). this "standard" practice used everywhere else is disgusting to me. looks like almost anyone can get legal permission to organize something look-alike as a lottery system or a casino (no difference!). just declare yourself non-profit or a good-cause or something like that and write-off virtually all collected money of the afflicted-in-hope-of-winning for themselves as "expenses", not forgetting mandatory tossing just couple paltry bones (like 0.01% of generated income) in the form of prizes to "winners". Photo-Vogue are particularly cheeky bastards because they even demand the right to put THEIR name on YOUR work. That's horse shit! I wouldn't even let a PAYING CLIENT do that. Even the contests, paid for or not, are not that cheeky. Nov 06 13 01:13 pm Link They have accepted just a single studio/model shot of mine so far: Alt.Portraits of Madame X #1 http://www.vogue.it/en/photovogue/Portf … Fullscreen ... but a handful of others. Jun 13 14 07:59 am Link They have all the rights to the images you send them. This is great for both parties. They get the huge categorized images catalogue that they can use, sell or earn profit on them anyway they like. You, on the other hand get your work REVIEWED!!! That is the important thing! Not a f***ing VOGUE sticker, but the fact that an impartial professional has actually said that your work is or isn't fit for printing in a high ranking fashion publication. Whether it results in anything more is irrelevant.
