Last night I had a photoshoot at the last moment the llama , casually mentioned that would be bringing her cousin to help.
I used to had strong rules about companions but eventually those rules got relaxed.
The shoot was uneventful.
This morning I received a text-message from the llama with apologies , telling me that her cousin took "some small stuff " from the studio. After a long check the missing things are really small ( Toilet paper and a few decorative items) , nevertheless it was a close call.
Live and Learn.

I had some experiences with kleptomaniacs in studios before. The take almost anything but then let you know they have them Weird but a curious way of attracting attention to themselves.

And now you know why I don't want llama herders on jobs.  Unless it's someone I know or trust - or is working for me - I don't want them on the set or location.

Yes, but still... if it's proven that most times, when you get robbed it's from people you know and trust, how are we expected to trust people based on models who know and trust them?

I suggest we drug and interrogate the models at length.

I think it happens a lot more than people realize which is why I prefer shoots outdoors and where I know the equipment etc I need is very close by. It's impossible to keep an eye on someones companion when you are busy setting up and taking shots, naturally companions get bored especially if its a long shoot. I'm glad to hear nothing precious was taken. It's a serious lesson for everyone out there, I certainly took note.

That model deserves big hugs for her honesty. That's someone I'd make a point of working with again. The cousin, however, gets to stay home.
