It's funny, on most other forums i've been on the avatar is usually of the person who owns the account, as mine is. perhaps should change it to a picture i took..

Jenny Jannetty wrote: Do you have any advice for one in my port that would pull you in more? I'm always looking to improve Thank you for your feedback! It's much appreciated! Well, I will tell you what I think. That is pretty much all I can do, and you can choose what to do with what I tell you. there are avatars that will catch my eye when I post on another person's photo, thread or even on the main page, some avatar's will catch my eye. What makes those Avatar's stand out? Here is a short list: 1. bigger is usually better. Far away photos don't work on a small avatar. They have to grab my attention in about 1/4 of a second at most, and if my eye/brain has to figure out the avatar photo because you are too small in it or it is too busy, then it will not catch my eye 2. Colors.....bright colors catch my eye better. White (not so much a color but you get the idea) and red do the job the best. If you do a B/W then make sure that it really pops me in the face and says "HEY!! Look at me!!" That is why I use the avatar that I use. It stands out. If the photos was smaller, it would not stand out. Do you agree? 3. Photos with curves and lines work very well. I will quantify this up front by saying I am a huge heterosexual. Just the way I am. We all have things about the opposite sex that really catch our attention. Look at the previous comments I have made......especially the ones that say "100% yes". There is something in the photo that sets the female apart.......legs, curves, behind, eyes, ........those catch my eye alot. And if you can highlight them, then I will more likely look at your port.......and maybe even list or want to work with you if even possible. 4. Males. As I said before, I am a heterosexual. So you are already at a disadvantage if you are a male model. However, I will look more if you have a very creative avatar (because I like creativity no matter what your sex is), and I also enjoy beauty. Beauty can be male or female, but once again I inherently believe that females have more inherent beauty. Just the way I am. OK, now to your avatar. I do like your avatar. But if I was quickly scanning a page, yours would not stand out. Once again, all this is my opinion, and someone else may give you a different opinion. So value this as much as you choose. It is darker, and doesn't hit me in the face and say "look at me". In order to do that you are going to need some serious contrast or something in your shot as your present avatar doesn't strike me as having that quality. These are the ones I think would perhaps make me want to see more of your work if I saw one of these as your avatar: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 9#29399189 Do I really need to explain why? I think it is all too obvious. Huge sexy shot with amazing WOW power!! I think you will increase your hits on that photo alone dramatically if you used it as your avatar. The only thing is that you are showing a pretty fair amount of booty. so a moderator may flag it as "Mature". But you can always wait to get your hand slapped if it even does. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 0#29289800 Legs! Great legs and nice use of colors and positioning. Great work. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 2#29297932 I think this is your 2nd best for an avatar. Once again legs, but the red and white really pop. Then as I would take a second longer to glance at it I would see the amazing smile and eyes. It works well. These are shots that I like, and might work to advertise your port. But I think the other ones I have already listed are your sure fire best ones. Especially the very first one. It is a home run!! https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 7#29289887 https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 4#29289794 https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 6#29287016 Once again this is all my opinion, but I thank you for asking! :-)

I'll put my avatar up for the yes/no. I wouldn't mind hearing why though as well. -Christian

A good body with good cleavage and lighting that highlights the shot. I will go with 60/40 as to whether the shot will catch my eye and motivate me to see more. Why only 60/40? I think the darkness of the shot.....while it adds to the drama of the work itself.......cause the shot to perhaps be glanced over when used as the avatar.

Carlo Garcia Photo wrote: Me? Any suggestions on improvement? I doubt I would look. Why? because collages are more difficult for the eye to pick up and distinguish what the work entails. While the model is amazingly stunning, I thing an avatar using just the bottom shot in your present collage avatar would be much stronger and more "eye-catching"
