Downloaded. I'm totally rocking out to that during my road trip tomorrow, and definitely adding it to my workout playlist.

Koreans are intense.

Feels like a modern remanufacture of a cross between MC Hammer and  Milli Vanilli.

It has the simplicity of Macarena, so anyone can join instantly and have fun.

Choppy video humor of The Monkeys.

Ride 'em, Cowboy. Oink, snort.

Engrish Translation:

Oppa is Gangnam style
Gangnam style

A girl who is warm and humanly during the day
A classy girl who know how to enjoy the freedom of a cup of coffee
A girl whose heart gets hotter when night comes
A girl with that kind of twist

I’m a guy
A guy who is as warm as you during the day
A guy who one-shots his coffee before it even cools down
A guy whose heart bursts when night comes
That kind of guy

Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end

Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style

I remember Carl Roberts posting the full length song link a while back.  lol

But how did the OP mistake gangnam sounding like condom?

I did not mistakenly hear that oppa gangnam style as open condom style

OMGGGGG I GET THE VIDEO NOW!

in gangnam, many girls try to get with rich guys, they address these guys as "Oppa".

like how you might go to a gentlemen's club and the girls call you daddy

Oppan is Oppa with a speech particle?

anyway the video is a satire with the guy being one of those rich dudes

Oppa is like an equivalent to being called honey, dear, sweetheart and things along those lines from my understanding.  Oppa is generally used by the females only.  Sometimes it is a way of addressing a BF or some close guy.

But I could be wrong.

It's nice to see them promoting their business and economy, rather than killing it off like we do in the USA.

The video looks like it was manufactured and promoted by an advertising company for $$$

I found this a few weeks ago.  My sister, me and my bro plan on learning this dance and doing it at the next family party.  That and I'm trying to get a group to do this at an anime convention next year.

This was a helpful article in understanding what the entirety of the song/video is about.
