Link me to your best rope bondage pics (links only and be sure to mark them 18+) and I'll comment on the technique, safety and how well it speaks to a guy for whom rope bondage is an integral part of his life.

Good to see you back..

I am starting.. and trying to get "creative" admittedly at the expense of being a bit sloppy. First row in "Nudes and fetish" folder.

I have a couple of light Kinbaku images up. I am acquainted with some of the best riggers in the Midwest, so more images will be posted in the future.

It's a pretty good example of Damsel In Distress (DID).  My sense is that person doing the tying isn't all that into it as it's quite loose and not in the usual places we see DID.  That said, you did a nice job as the model showing the "Oh no, don't hurt me Mr. Mean Man" face that is crucial to this genre.

While this isn't my go-to rope style, you've both done a good job depicting a part of the lifestyle.

Coming along very well.

My concern with the firs two are that your load-bearing wraps are quite sparse relative to the softness of the model's body.  The risk we run with showing suspension in a mainstream setting like MM is that the concept of a "pain slut" is largely unknown.  As such, a newb looking at these two might assume that anyone will be able to handle a suspension with those very thin wraps, which usually isn't the case.

The second two are quite nice, but the load is off balance on the chest.  One looks intentional, the other unintentional.  Doing this isn't bad per se, but has the same risks of perception noted above.

That said, your work has a nice edge which draws me in and makes me want to reach for my rope bag.

Keep up the good work!

You've done a very nice job capturing the model's connection to the rope, which is well done, clean and safe.

Both images speak to my rope spirit for that reason

Thanks for the input, very much appreciated critique and advice. The model in the 2nd and 3rd shot weighs 90lb wet and has fair amount of experience, so it is a bit different than 1 and 4.  I will bear the comments and advice next time!

Very nice overall.  The looseness of the rope makes me suspect that your reaction is more from the scarf on your face, but overall a very effective image with clean, safe ropework

I REALLY like this one:

my first attemps

Technically the rope is pretty good.  That particular rope is tough to work with because of the stiff core.  The mode seems a bit detached from both you and the rope, but a very good first attempt.

Try some thinner softer rope (like a diamond braid nylon or cotton about 1/4" in diameter).  It will give you a lot more room to work.

I love both of them.  The rope work is very good and refreshingly not too "neat"

The images appear to capture the model in the midst of experiencing rope, which is very engaging.

This one: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/5775323

and the only other one that could be one is the top one of these: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/28447883

Oh, but don't think the model in the top pic is uncomfortable; it only looks that way.  The ropes have a lining.

The "uncomfortable" nature of the rope is less distracting than the mismatch of textures between the bra, panties and rope.  I'm not sure where the focus should be and what the intent of the image is.  Might just be a matter of too tight of a crop?

The second one is a very nice twist on suspension.

BTW, MM considers all bondage images as 18+, so please edit your post and add 18+ to each link.

All very good images from both the rope and modeling side.  That said, I'm always a bit leery of shots like your last one.  While I see how it was done, and know the reality of how long shots like this usually last, I try not to display these very edgy and more dangerous poses in places where the average viewer is unaware of all the risks.

I've seen more than my share of quite badly injured models who were tied by someone using only an image like your last one as a reference.  They generally miss several important safety steps and unfortunately, while they  "get the shot", the model is  also shot, often for many weeks, if not longer.

The photographer has it posted on his Tumblr, but I have yet to post it because of that. When I do, I will definitely be accompanying it with a paragraph about how important it is for models to check up on their riggers and be careful doing this stuff.

:-)  I usually say something like "Don't Try this at home!.  No really, don't do it."
Unfortunately there is no real standard by which any of this can be measured for safety.  We can only hope that folks are using their heads.

You're right that the cropping is close.  I just didn't finish the original, and this is cropped way in.  However, I think your comment about the textures is completely backwards.

Actually, to my mind, simple is often best.  Both these images show clear intention and the rope is used quite effectively toward that end.

If you look carefully at all my rope images, there is only one real "knot" used over and over again.

I like it.  Often in bondage, less is more.  One of the most intense scenes I ever had was with only one piece of rope less than 10 feet long.

Great work!  You've clearly got a good rigger and you enjoy it.  Sadly, you'll need to change your avatar because MM defines all bondage as 18+ and eventually will remove it and put that silly cowbell avatar up.

Please let me know if you ever come to the US

That was the first time i've been suspended and i really enjoyed it. Would definitely love to play around with that concept a bit more smile
