I am so very sorry to all the photographers I have filled a time slot with. Unfortunately, I am going to have to cancel this shoot. Due to personal issues, and a new job. Again, I apologize and wish everyone a great and fun shoot!

I have themes worked out for several of my shoots and need to toss some ideas around the the other models.
If Pearl makes it to the shoot, you guys will want her in front of your lens. The girl knows how to pose.
Awe well thank you Unfortunately, it's not looking too good for me to come out. I am waiting to hear back on a job this weekend to see what days they need me to work. I am bummed that the leaves are just about gone up here in Cleveland area... not sure how it is down there. The weather sucks up here!!
As of now they are calling for 56 and partly cloudy for Sat. That isn't bad weather for this time of year. We are going to have soups, sandwiches, fresh fruit, veggie tray, fresh chocolate chip cookies, water, soft drinks, and any hot drinks needed. There will be a fire in the fire place, fire pit, and a kettle grill with a fire under the shelter house.
Lynni, you know we are going to take care of you.
There are coffee pots in all the cabins and Sharon Just got a new Kurig.
Won't it be kind of messy having 1/2 of a model there? Did she upset Dexter? Pregnancy shots or HAS Dexter been at it again?..lol
Darkheart? You have something to do with this?
Lynni, are you asking if I got someone pregnant, resulting in the 1/2 model? Or if I just cut one in half? As far as I know, I have not impregnated anyone. Nor have I cut anyone in half. Nor have I impregnated anyone who was cut in half.
Well last night I had two trees come down. One hitl the power lines and the other.... Our damn house. So we've got a hole in our living room getting patched up as I type. (From Starbucks lol)
So all bs aside, I so so soooo regretfully can not drive out of state this weekend. I apologize to everyone that made time for me and everything. I will try and make the next one even if I have to pay the fee. Hope the remaining people on the list have a blast and get some great shots.
Hopefully the weather breaks and doesn't push a lot of folks from attending. Has anyone heard from Sarah? I think I saw she was from WV and it looks like they got hit hard in places with snow. Crazy weather.. Who else is ready for spring?!? lol
Rented an ice light (http://tinyurl.com/95yf753) to play around with this weekend to see how well it does for constant light and light shaping.. I just wish the purchase price tag was a little more in a comfortable range.. lol
why cant we have the 80 degree weather we had last week? GAH!! oh well
those of you whom I have messaged please respond soon on wardrobe so I can be ready today and friday are my only down days til saturday thank you!
Hanna Marie is the Half model. I said half because she can't get there till 2 p.m.
At this moment I have 2 in. of snow outside but it is melting fast. The weather forecast is still for 56 and partly cloudy. This storm on the east coast is making a mess.
The good news is that maybe the waterfall will be running. This storm has also taken down almost all the leaves.
Mike, yes, please bring some ice.
Justine NT, registered as Justine Touma MM# 1151322 just cancelled. Adjust your schedules accordingly.
Whatever happens weather wise, we will make it work and we are still going to have a great time. There are plenty of indoor places to shoot.
12-1 Open (I had this marked as lunch, but I would like to book more)
1-2 Alii Nicole
2-3 Dixie lea
4-5 Open (JamminD)
5-6 Stacey Willow
I have a bunch of openings. I had every model that has cancelled so far booked (Luck of the draw). So, if anybody has openings, please contact me. I still have JamminD on this schedule, but I haven't heard if she will be able to make it or not.
Hey Jim.. Do you have power in the shelter where you had the hay bales last shoot and do you have hay bales in there still or they all gone for winter? Was thinking about bringing a couple of lightboxes too to setup around that area if I had power.. Still haven't dropped the investment into battery packs yet... lol
I'm about 30 min away from you and we probably got between an inch and two inches but like you said, ours is melting fast too. Hope the mid 50s (or even higher - I know.. wishful thinking) comes back and they don't change forecast!
For my models that I'm working with that I haven't worked out clothing/themes with yet, bring colorful autumn tones for portrait type shots. If you want to transition into outdoorsy boudoir type shots, feel free to bring and wear under outfit. I have a couple of themed shoots as well. If we haven't discussed and you want to do some sort of theme, bring appropriate clothing/props. For example, Francesca was going to bring outfit and stuff to do a fairyish/wood nymph kind of theme and I have two red riding hood variations, one goth and one succubus.. So if you want to do something like that or had an awesome Halloween costume this year that you want some "in-character" shots of to add to your portfolio, feel free to bring..
I'm finishing up getting stuff ready for wedding ordering session and Lynni's autumn photos from week before last so I apologize in advance for the lack of planning. But we'll rock it out!
Oh, and if you are a model and I haven't scheduled you, I have two spots from cancellations.. My 9-10 arrival prep slot I'll schedule if someone wants to shoot and I am willing to reschedule during the lunch slot if someone wants.. Both of those spots were opened from the cancellations.
Still excited and looking forward to this weekend!!
Some cancelations seem to be inevitable, but we always have a BLAST!!
Still picturing the pregnant half model...lolol....Darkheart, you are AWESOME!!
Still planning on getting there Friday afternoon so if the photographers who wanted Friday shoots have some wardrobe ideas, please message me. (keep in mind I am a teacher and would love to keep my job).
