Best - Warming this shot up some would help. I love the model and pose!

Best - Perfect timeless pose! Awesome for BW!!!! Nice job!

Worst - Not enough contrast or separation from background in this shot. Putting some rim light and more fill on your model would help this one out.

I would love for you to pick my best and worst, as well as tell me why. I will return the favor smile Thanks in advance for your time.

Best - Great light and color tone! Nice style too!! - On many of your shots you are slightly cropping or framing out part of the models feet/shoes, try to show the complete fashion look if your are doing a full body shot. It will help your full body comps look much better.

Worst - This would be an awesome style for a matching location shoot. I feel the BG makes the shot look bad.

Thank you for your feedback

next time I use that location I shall take along some speedlights to light the model with and see what I can do rather than using natural light only :-)

Best - Love the personality that pours out on this shot!! Sexy too!!
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130324/18/514fa9478e1d0_m.jpg

Best 2 - Cool style!!
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/120414/15/4f8a004cd892f_m.jpg

Worst - Your arm is out of proportion due to distortion from the lens (It gets bigger the closer it is to the camera). Also... I just don't feel this shot shows off any of your ability.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130327/17/51539537588bc_m.jpg

Worst 2 - Your right arm/hand looks very forced or unnatural. Cool style on this shot though!

Sure!

Your pose foreshortened you and it is hard to see the details of your style due to lighting (The shoes look like they are quite awesome, I just cant see many of their details). I also don't care for the edit work and digital noise on it. Overall, I would like to see this style shot on a matching location and with a higher quality level. Hope that helps!

I'd like to know a why on my worst :-)

Best- Pretty hard to pick, but this to me feels perfect. The color, the tattoos, the pose, the shallow depth of field. A lot of things are working well together in this photo. I'd actually like to see you put this as your first image on your port.
https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/13970260

Worst - I just feel like it's a bit weak. The top of the buildings seem to be more exciting than the model's pose.

I know I definitely need to work on some things, but if you could offer me your thoughts that would be great. I know I'm not the best on deciding what is a strong image and what isn't for my portfolio.

Thanks. smile

Best - Great style and camera work! Neat tone too! I wish you had more in this quality range.

Worst - The other shot you have up from this same location/spot is better. The tone on this one is not as good and your foot is foreshortened making it look weird.

Best2 - Nice! Love the finished out look this has.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/100713/11/4c3cb539065a0_m.jpg

Worst - The pose looks to forced to me. Also the empty sleeve gives you a third arm look.

Best - The only thing that could improve this is if you were in your birthday suit rather than this swim suit. You have a classical figure and this would make a stunning nude pose. Either way... IT IS AWESOME!
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130513/18/519195e7453b2_m.jpg

Best 2 - Sexy dress and nice curve!
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/120323/11/4f6cc2d644d31_m.jpg

Worst - I don't care for the comp... I wish they didn't crop/frame out your leg. It is also on the dark side.

Best - One of the best moods in your port. Nice style for this too.
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130518/09/5197a78facf6d_m.jpg

Best 2 - Hot style and nice mood!
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130515/16/51941620745c9_m.jpg

Worst - Punch a look like this up with lots of mood - Angry Sexy - Mischievous - Confident
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/130217/18/512191fb4c216_m.jpg

Try very hard to bring a wide range of moods to your modeling work. Practice in the mirror and save moods from models that you like to use as reference. It feels like you have about two moods in your port.

Try to work with better photographers. Also, pick out your best shot from each look rather than having several up from the same look/set.

It just takes a good bit of time and practice. However, the sooner you master a wide range of moods the better off you will be as far as landing better photo jobs goes. Don't be afraid to try new ideas/moods and push yourself outside of your norm.
