Hello people!

Let's get straight to the point shall we...  Is there a flu epidemic spreading accross ye olde London town?  I've been recruiting girls for several months to participate in smoking fetish shoots in Central London.  Of course I've encountered many poor excuses for failing to show for the shoot, but recently the rather (lame in my opinion) excuse is along the line of "I have the flu".

Clearly sometimes such reasons are legitimate but often it's obvious the model has changed her mind about participating which is fine.  I'd rather people be honest, or indeed merely ignore my casting calls when I publish them instead of claiming they are interested in participating.

Has anyone else noticed a severe flu epidemic sweeping the cobbled streets of our fine capital here in London, or indeed any fine city accross the globe?

My town got hit.

I'm just getting over mine; three weeks!

You Brits need to cover your mouths and noses when you cough and sneeze, it's carrying all the way over here.

People in the know realize that the flu epidemic hitting London is the first stage of the zombie apocalypse. The people getting the flu now will most likely get ovet it but they are already infected with the zombie virus being called "Strain 43L". Months from now they will succumb to fever and die and about 2 days later will become walking undead and have a voracious appetite for human flesh. From what I am being told London is the epicenter and the origin of this terrible disease being spead worldwide. Thanks London....

For the person's town that was already hit and has just "gotten over it" I feel bad for you, but at least you know what is to come.

Maybe it's just you. All the models you booked, actually just wanted to shoot with a modelographer, like me! Just kidding! smile

Actually, we had a pretty bad outbreak recently in Detroit area of sinus infections and strep throat. I was out of work for 2 days and there was a group shoot that had a ton of cancellations, all due to illness. It was definitely the most sparsely-attended group shoot we had had in a while.

When the weather changes....well....that's when we all get sick as our bodies adjust. Unfortunately it affected both photographers and models alike. Le sigh.

I don't smoke anymore... But when I did, I was not a heavy smoker, and avoided smoking when I was sick.

If I'm going to be asked to smoke on and off for a few hours in a row, you bet I will only shoot if I'm feeling good.
