.....and then say they charge and dont do TF. Ive had a few tags and PMs of a model and she charges, but Ive done TF with people equally as good, so Im not sure what the point is of doing this. Its like being stalked and then told you have to pay if you want it to stop. Ive had quite a bit of this recently and Ive decided that frankness is the best option. Also it looks so ungenuine. Im not going to be able to photograph someone and get to their essence if I actually find their character dubious am I?

I just look at it like they are networking. Just because they like my work doesn't mean they don't need money.

Is this any different from the photographers that consistently SPAM models' ports with TAGs and PMs saying "Welcome to MM - Why not shoot with me - I only charge $xxx" Both models and photographers are guilty of this but it seems that photographers feel it is "promoting their business" but want to call out models for SPAMing the photographers' ports. SPAM is SPAM - it is evil - don't do it.

It's not necessarily your fault, but could be potentially caused by the joking tone in your profile. "Mixed signals syndrome" or they are just not missing the boat in this way.

For the most part, anyone that promotes their business on this site is going to be very disappointed unless they are a female model that does nudes. I'm not great but I'm not bad, and if I marketed here and only shot for money I would almost never shoot. That's just the way it is. For most of us, using this site for marketing is barking up the wrong tree.

What a fantastic great idea and how constructive!
