I would love to attend but I might not be able to make it. I'm moving to San Fran in January for school and I might be in Virginia visiting family that weekend. Read the following to get a better idea of the event!! Here is a little rundown of the event: ***Doors open at 9am. ***Shooting starts at 10am *** Event ends at 6pm. Don't schedule any shoots after 6pm. Your 5pm shoot may run slightly over if you're behind in the day. That will be ok if it's a few mins. *** Everyone please be advised the building does have stairs!! Bring comfortable walking shoes while coming up the stairs to where you plan to shoot at. *** Cost to attend the event: MUA's .................... Due to the high demand for this event, we suggest paying in advance!!! **Everyone works on a TF basis, meaning trade for photos. NO one charges anyone for their time.** **There is a pot luck we have! We would like everyone to bring something that they can share with others whether it be a 12pk of soda, cookies, candy, pizza, anything! Please share your schedules there and on your profile there as well!! https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thread_id=867940 As far as lighting goes, there definitely is not enough lighting to go around for all of the photographers. Of course the main studio has the regular lighting, not studio lights that will be available; but in the warehouse floors, there is only natural light. I encourage you to bring your own battery operated as I'm not sure there is electricity on the other levels. Definitely bring easy to carry lighting since in order to get to other floors of the building, you will need to climb stairs and wear comfortable shoes! All shooting will be indoors. You are welcome to shoot outside of the building but there isn't much to shoot out there but the exterior of the building and there may be some other areas nearby if you'd like to utilize something in particular. The place is an old warehouse building with 5 floors. The only floors shooting will take place on will be the first 3-4 floors usually. I'm not 100% sure about the last floor as of now. The warehouse floors have the old style warehouse windows, some have vines on them from outside of the building, some windows are cracked... And there is also alot of odds and ends on those floors you can use for the shoot as most is storage. There is an old tv and old radio on one of the floors, lockers, old warehouse equipment, old bathroom with peeling paint... It's hard to describe really. Pictures coming soon! So, you must go to 2nd or 4th floor, then back to 3rd. 5th floor: off limits!!!!! I recall Dave saying that floor isn't safe to be on, and more than likely, isn't accessible in the first place.
