I like the portrait and light, but I would look absolutely horrendous in that shade of lipstick (which works for your model). It'd kill the shot if I took it.

Couldn't be mine because I don't think I can pull that expression smile

I'd love to have shot Samantha's avatar! Only two small things I'd have done differently: 1) more expression in her eyes; 2) a darker lipstick.

Couldn't be mine, I haven't experimented with a grainy b/w fine art feel like this for years, and never with a model.

Maybe I should!

Couldn't be mine, because when I tilt my head at that angle I look like I have a double chin!

Couldn't be mine, the hairs across the face would make me nuts and I would "need" to shop them out.

Oh my gosh, tell me about it.
But, the photoshop gods haven't attacked this picture yet, so this is the only version that I have sad

Yikes! It's easier to move the hairs before shooting. The hairs that go across the eye are gonna be extra fun to remove. Extremely nice look otherwise though.

it couldn't be mine, cause i have never tried this kind of styling and make up like almost "body art painting". it is cool, will have to try once. btw is this thread for everyone? i mean for photographers it makes sense... but for models, not really i guess
still fun smile

Couldn't be mine - that would require me to wear clothes!

Couldn't be mine because of the haloing around the model isn't my style. The composition or crop aren't my cup of tea. Maybe just a touch less contrast from me (and I like contrast) to open up the shadows a bit. I would've exploited the awesomeness of that wardrobe piece by tossing a little more light onto the sleeve...

Too simple, too boring for my liking. I rarely use plain lighting.

I would never crop an image that way

I've tried a couple times but have not yet captured an amazing, dynamic, flying hair shot.  I will attempt one again next weekend! smile

I always get the hard ones in those games! I'd love to be the one in this avi! but it couldn't be mine because I would have shown my hands and I probably would have lay down on that sofa! Also I would never have perfect curls in my hair like this!

Marlene....

I could only hope to shoot as well, but it can't be mine:

1) I would trash the Gatekeeper logo, even if I was a Gatekeeper (I would quit the GK gig if necessary.....jk....)

2) Too many items of clothing.. (ie 3)..  wink
