It's got me wondering......did you begin posing nude because you were offered an opportunity, or was it more like,  "I'd really like to try nude modeling."?

I was young and needed the money.

That was a while ago.  Just once. It helped that that shoot was indeed completely professional, female assistant and all.

Then long nothing.

Then I got married to husband.
Who was about to deploy.

I know my sailor, so I panicked and had a calendar made for him. I found a terrible, terrible photographer who did a trade for me and a few shots came out actually really nice, and voila! Nudie model was born.

I found a few good gigs after that and once I was got a small port on here, fill in the blanks..

Started modeling in the nude at art classes, spread to photo from that, now have expanded to some acting (stage and movie) and even get to wear clothes with the stage & movie stuff sometimes. My model work is still pretty much full nude or real close to it.

Great, story, Eurocat.  I've been enjoying your recent posts and comments.  I do hope we'll have the chance to work together next time you're in Chicago!

I actually started out doing nudes... and fell in love with it! So art nudes are all do. Strangely (or not) enough, I feel more comfortable modeling naked than when asked to wear panties, swimsuits, or clothes. smile

i was a 19 y/o exhibitionist with a hatred of more traditional forms of employment, so why not get paid for something i'd do for free?

I actually started out modeling when I was 12, was super tall and skinny for my age and was signed up with an agency. When I got to be about 15 or 16 my agency pretty much dropped me (I stopped growing taller, booo). Years later I heard about MM and when I signed up, I thought "well, hell, no one's gonna pay me for anything else BUT nudes, I'm only 5'7..." So I did nudes. I like 'em.

I always wanted to push myself to embrace my body the way God made it, in its pure form...and to get in tune with who I really am without all the clothes and accessories.

It was https://assets.modelmayhem.com/images/smilies/scary.pngas hell, but I found a kinda famous and very professional photographer who only did artistic nudes that were gorgeous and tasteful. I really did not like the experience, i felt tense and he never even sent me the photos! (it was a paid gig, so i guess it is ok)

I was puzzled that I felt so uncomfortable and decided to try again when the right opportunity comes up. The second time there was another photog whose work was so gorgeous that I just wanted to work with him. Surprisingly, I felt 10 times more comfortable! (No photos yet from that shoot...sad )

Then I've done a couple more and actually kinda liked it.

I am still waiting to feel super comfortable while shooting nude, I guess it will come with practice! I am just extremely picky whom I do nudes with and it is going slowly. smile
