I'm finally a year in and I was hoping maybe some experienced people would check my pace and see if I'm heading in the right direction. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Holly Dec 09 12 02:51 pm Link You're doing ok for glamour. Your main problems are you have too many of the same looks in your shot. Delete the least favorites of each look. One or two of the same outfit/style of shot should be in your port at the same time. No more. This shot is a really good glamour shot: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/p … 3#29529943 Same with this: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/30852807 I don't really see too many "Bad shots". Just too many pictures with not enough variety. Delete the old ones as well. But you are in a good direction. Dec 09 12 04:08 pm Link Too much!!! Trim down your portfolio to your top 12-20 best images. I agree with other comments about similar looks. Row #5 seems to have all the same facial expression. You have two 'chain' images that aside from one being B&W and one being color are essentially the same pose. Dec 09 12 05:58 pm Link Thanks everyone. I'm doing some serious shot trimming right now. Dec 09 12 06:44 pm Link Anymore input would be awesome! I'll soak it in like a sponge... Lol Dec 09 12 08:33 pm Link When I look at a port I don't care how many images of the same shoot are in it. I care that you can be in great shape at the shoot and that you look comfortable in front of the camera. I can get the model into the correct pose if she is inexperienced. Let me know if you ever hit the NW. Dec 09 12 08:44 pm Link Thanks a lot! I definately will let you know. Great port btw. Love the fitness work. Dec 10 12 06:25 pm Link Is it starting to look better?
