Not quite the ones used when we went bridal dress shopping; they didn't stay attached, for one, and had to continuously be readjusted. Mehh. Heftier than safety pins, though.

Were the corsets and bra your idea for security or did they tell you it was necessary?

I wanted to wear one so the lines were softened from the dress--mainly as a waist cincher. The lady was the one who decided on the second one. Mehh.

My dress was two pieces . The bodice separated from the skirt, so there were lines if my stomach stood out at all, hence the waist cincher.

Nah, it wasn't painful--then again, I was on cloud nine that day . It was hard to breathe, but that was part of the fun!
