Anyone know of S&M dungeons that allow personal photography sessions near Manhattan or Washington DC? I've shot at one a few years ago but lost contact with them.

Ive never worked there so I cant vouch for quality, but I know that Slyhorse Studios in Rockville MD has a dungeon section that they rent out.

Theres a few other dungeons in the MD/DC area but they're not as photography-centered as slyhorse is...since theyre typically JUST dungeons, not doubled onto a photo studio.

What kind of space/equipment/look (setting wise) are you going for? Do you need to rent photography equipment along with the space? Are you doing stills or video?

Most of the NYC commercial houses/dungeons will rent their facilities to photographers at their standard room rental rate.

However, their rates are not cheap ($70-90 per hour)

Thanks, it's tough searching for the right one. Trying to get specific location recommendations. The Slyhorse Studios has zero photos available.

As far as NYC goes, Pandora's box has the most elaborate/photogenic facilites but they are the priciest of the lot.

Le Salon De Sade has some themed rooms, but not as nice.

Just a thought...find a model who's very experienced as a dominatrix.  She'll probably have much of her own gear.  Then it's more of finding the appropriate space (ie: a studio with seamless white paper isn't want you're looking for).  Depending upon the concept, the model may even have access to the right shooting space that is also photographically appropriate.

The dungeon equipment at Sly Horse is in a separate space.  No white seamless.
