I really want to get into the studio and play around with gels!
Id. like to add some of these to my list for inspiration!
I'm looking for really well done high fashion/portrait work

Since gels aren't all that popular please post a specific photo/s

This is basic 3 point lighting (you can see by the shadows), with light spills on the background.

Red gel directly behind the model (pointed at her back) as fog drops behind her.

Yellow gel used against black background paper. Additional effects using Lucis Paint software.

Yellow gel fired into dropped fog (at 90 degree angle behind the model)

One light with red gel, one light with no gel fired at 45 degree angle through dropped fog behind the model to create pink haze.

one blue gel, one yellow gel pointed directly at each other and allowed to shine on white background created this green silhouette. The actual effect in the studio on this one was almost surreal.
