The sun was going down, light was fading fast. In a rare moment, out came the 580ex II for a little camera mounted flash. Please forgive me. I love this shot, especially since it's with a non-model I had been trying to work with for months.

Keeper? Or am I clouded by my love of redheads and the first one I'd shot in 15 years?

Clouded. But there are worse clouds to be under.

I don't think that image enhances your portfolio but the model is gorgeous. Maybe there are others.

I love it.  Shoot for what you like and hope enough people share your good taste. smile

So what's the secret to shooting with her?

I spoke to her during our first shoot about possibly joining Mayhem, and we have our second shoot this Saturday. She'll be flattered to hear of more interest. :^)

Don't blow it.  I might be in Denver some day.  smile

In all seriousness, I think she'd have plenty of interest and could make a few bucks on the side modeling - she's stunning.

lovely girl, but I am not fond of the photo.  I think your judgement is clouded here.

Model: Excellent
Model connection with camera: Not so great, raise chin, point nose more where her eyes are looking
Pose is not exploiting llamas good looks, show them long luscious legs
Best when undergarments are kept out of site

So clouded judgment, but with good reason

Pass our complement onto the llama as well

Clouded.  I agree model is gorgeous, but I also agree that particular image does neither of you justice smile

Not a keeper...

You caught an attractive young lady in a non-conventional situation, but the image just seems a bit too 'snap shot'. Maybe from a different angle - or a different expression - or something, but this time the 'magic' just ain't there.

Just my opinion.

PS: after looking at the image again, I think the thing that 'bothers' me the most is her left arm. It just seems sorta contorted.
