I would love to get in on an organized fashion and/or swimsuit workshop, the kind where I would travel to e.g. NYC or LA or Paris for a fashion shoot organized by someone who has the chops to instruct, line up the models and stylists and MUAs and locations, have a group of x number of photographers learn and shoot models. Same for swimsuit at an ocean beach with beautiful sand and beautiful models. Do such travel/photo workshops exist, especially for fashion, and with enough advance notice to plan such a trip? Just today I found something like this for swimsuit, but it is in just a few weeks (so I would get hosed on airfare, etc).  Do such workshops exist, and where do I find out about them enough in advance (a few months?)?  Seems there would be a market for such a thing.  Instead of spending time lining up models for shoots where I live (or in addition to that), seems it would be more efficient when wanting to learn and also build my portfolio to just find such workshops, attend, get nice photos and a variety of models. Anybody have any info on this sort of thing?

They have a seminar scheduled for May down in the Bahamas.  I attended the last one in Miami and it was well worth it.  You work with the top Playboy photographers as well as some great models.  If you have any questions about it feel free to message me.

Interesting. Looks like it might be glamour/nudes? I might be up for that, but I also was hoping to find some fashion/swimsuit-beach type workshops. But that is what I am looking for in general, viz where a photographer sign$ up, someone else organizes the locations, models, MUAs, etc. I am finding a couple of other such workshops googling, but not finding much.

If nothing else, you've accidentally given me a great idea for an editorial story!

I'm a little unclear how this helps the OP. Seems more like a "hey everybody, look at me" type of post? https://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-basic/rolleyes.gif

The events forum lists many organized shoots. Some are a bit shy of instruction, but I have found that while many people say they are looking for instruction at a workshop often times they are more interested shooting the way they are currently shooting. I have presented many workshops at glamour shootouts on a variety of topics and I have hosted a few fashion and glamour workshops myself. You have to decide how much instruction vs. how much hands-on shooting you are interested in doing. Different workshops offer different programs.

Currently I am about 2 weeks away from hosting a workshop in Thailand which will include both fashion in Bangkok and swimwear in both the jungle and beach locations with a mix of instruction and hands-on shooting with Thai models. Probably too short notice for your needs.
