I just looked at the forecast again. They lowered the temp a bit (now high of 71 on Friday and 67 on Sat). but the 30% chance of showers on Sat. is now just partly cloudy and only a 10% chance of rain. WOO HOO! There is a chance that I will not be able to make the shoot, we have a very important event at work this weekend that I just found out about. It's pretty much a Be there or Be fired deal. I am trying to work something out with my job, but in case I can't make it, I wanted to make sure all of the photographers that signed up to shoot with me know what's going on. Probably not good enough ''yet" to waste any ones time shooting this trip - perhaps next year. I'll probably sneak away to rock house, old man's cave, or one of the falls for any hour, or so - but wanted to say a big thank you to any of the photographers that are willing to allow me to watch their "process." I don't get down your way often; but it is always a treat. Also , I'd like to bring a couple 24 packs of coke, or sprite, to share with everyone... please let me know your preference. will you need bags of ice? It's where their hips degenerate...), and she has just gotten worse and worse and is just visibly miserable and not herself anymore :,( AND my parents decided to tell me TONIGHT that they were graduating (from college, lol). The good news is that there are 3 models and 3 photographers already here. We had a great cook out around a nice campfire tonight and had some awesome mesquite rubbed pork steaks cooked over the fire and corn on the cob. Sharon and her mother have 2 tea rings and cinnamon rolls made for in the morning and Jane is baking fresh bread in the morning for our sandwiches at lunch. What a great bunch of people we had here today. This wasn't the biggest group shoot we have had but it was close. The quality of pictures taken today was fantastic. One model shot with 12 photographers. We had 22 photographers and 12-18 models. It was hard to keep count because some brought friends. A lot of the regulars were here but we had a nice mix of new faces. Everyone was very professional and it was a fun day. I hope you all had a fun and creative day and we see you again in Oct.
