If a sponsor has not secured a permit or the right permit, it is the sponsor and not the photographers or models who will be subjected to legal action or not allowed to hold a shoot on the premises again. Over the years, I have been to shoots that were shut down early or never started because the sponsor did not get the permit. However, I do believe that shoot that is shut down due to the sponsor's fault of not securing the proper permits, the sponsor should refund the photographers their money. Apr 07 13 02:53 pm Link Cals Imaging Services wrote: Cal, you and I have been acquaintances for a few years. The question was valid as the OP did not state he had acquired a permit. His initial statements made it seem as though this was a gorilla style of shoot. I wouldn't want anyone being cited because a host failed to do things by the law. You know my job, you know it's a duty of mine to "protect and serve" as they say. For the record, there have been photographers and models who have been recently cited because the organizer failed to secure the proper permits. Apr 08 13 09:50 am Link Another Great Day.
