mr.gepetto jackson- scam alert
Hello Models, R&B artists, Artist in general- I want to tell you all about Mr.Gepetto Jackson A.K.A Andre Vann. If you see either of those names PLEASE stay away. He is a fast talker and a scam artist. He took a large amount from me with promises that he would put me in a Selina Gomez music video that he would be shooting. Dumb on my part- I know, I have now learned my lesson, the hard way. His credentials will SEEM like they check out, but they don't at all. What he does is he pays rap artist and any one that has clout to hang with him and be in his music videos. He has several facebook pages under different names, he drives a car that does not belong to him, and he is very shady and play close to the chest when trying to explain anything about his career. HOW HE FOUND ME/WHAT HE DOES TO REEL MODELS IN: A 'scout' of his contacted me on my modeling 'fan page' saying I was perfect for this role in Selina's new music video- blah blah blah. I asked more about it and she said contact him. I contacted him the first thing he asked was 'which scout contacted you?' Really meaning- 'Which story do I need to stick to.'... I told him the models name and he went on and on blowing my ego up how 'this means you are really something if she chose you, blah blah' We met at a Panera bread in Kissimmee, FL. He has many tattoos, lots of necklaces, jewelry, stuff like that- to impersonate a R&B artist, I'm assuming. He didn't speak to me at all about the music video- he was talking about how he wants to sign me to his label for modeling purposes. We took a walk to the parking lot and he jumped straight for the money and said- you need to pay for your wardrobe. WARNING::: IF ANYONE ASKS YOU TO PAY FOR YOUR OWN STUFF BEFORE SHOOTING- IT'S A SCAM. I was feeding into my hopes and dreams (as I just lost my job and was thinking 'this can open so many doors for me!') I gave him the money and he PROMISED that he would pay me back the following monday. Needless to say- I didn't receive anything except excuses on how his PayPal wasn't working and how it's gonna be another week. This went on for 2 months and I haven't received anything from him. Just last week I noticed he turned off his cell phone. Either he is in jail again (hopefully) or he just got a new cell phone..Sorry for this post being so long but I wanted to tell you all how he acts because apparently he acts the same way with every model. He had this girl buy the phones under her name, then he took them from her. I'm sure he's using them to provide contact numbers for new scam victims. He apparently is having great success scamming new mm models. I hope you reported this guy to the cops, he is in the US and they should be able to put him away for a long time, once they catch up to him. Did he give you a facebook address? He contacted me Dec of 2011, met with him, and I knew something wasn't right... especially since HE'S asking ME for $$$$... doesn't work that way in the industry. Wanting me to sign a contract right then and there... told him I would have my lawyer get in touch with him on the details... he was NOT liking that idea... why? because he's a con of course. I knew it was trouble, so I passed on the "offer". So thankful of that... I then looked him up and sure enough, nothing but scams and arrests connected to his name. Yes I tried telling people on Model Mayhem Last year about this guy, I was raped and taken for all my Fathers eastate Orlando P.D did nothing would'nt even take my statement now all these people are getting hurt by this guy. Any Models out there that were drugged and rape. Let me know cause we can bann together and put him in prison. He did use a scout Last name was King for American Apparal. He claimed to be working for a woman named Crystal Her. She supposedly has a film company called "Her Films". As we can probably guess, "dray" is posing as her on facebook at facebook.com/herfilms. He even bothered to create a fake contract and a script even! Which i still have in my possession. All this happened yesterday, april 25th, 2013. He has a news segment that actually aired the day before, that of course we didn't see. I flew all the way from Vegas to Florida, spent over 3000 between flights, a hotel room and the iphones. I am working with tmobile who the phones where contracted under to get this guy back in prison where he belongs. He's never going to stop, he has fucked over so many fucking people. And to the woman who was raped; my heart goes out to you. My boyfriend insisted on coming with me out there, so he never tried any of that shit with me.
